Realising what Illit had said to her, Amy replied.
"Really? That could be a great advantage,......the time taken to stun your enemy with your mind is less than doing so phyisically,...am I right in saying that?"
~I really wonder if I am worthy of such a skill,....I am just a monk,....no powerful ability like that could be mine?~ Amy questioned herself,...looking rather grim still about what Koriisa had been saying.
(OOC - Gyah,....sorry my computer decided to have a fit,...and well,...this post was made 3 times,.....I deleted the other two.
*Regina looks sternly at her computer*
I apologise for that mistake of mine.

Koriisa doesn't reply to Amy, nor does she seem to listen to Amy's conversation with Illit, but continues to stalk down the hallway.

”Of course, mastering this mental attack will take time and patience, but you can do it, should you choose the road I am showing to you.” Illit said, smiling to Amy. ”But I’ll explain you more later, when we will be in more friendly surrounding. Oh, and by the way, don’t worry about killing those creatures; indeed, they were just pathetic Dretches, the weakest of Tanar’ri, the ones you call demons, but they were as evil as any of their kind. Were your positions reversed, I assure you they would kill you slowly and painfully while you would be helpless before them. Alright, now let’s get going. What we are looking for is a large staircase that will go to the right, just like the one we passed when we have just entered the citadel.”

Amy nodded to Illit to show she absorbed what she had told her,...but still a rather troubled look was on Amy's face.
Amy follows Koriisa's lead down the hallway, she continues to muse over whether their actions were just or not,.......atleast Amy thought she was doing the right thing; to help dwindle down the army of their greater enemy. Fighting with her own concience would not do well at a time like this,.....and so Amy tries to put such thoughts to the back of her mind.

Illit followed Amy and Koriisa into the corridor.

Amy, Illit and Koriisa ran through the corridor for a several minutes. Twice they staircases: one went to the left and downwards, the other to right and upwards; but neither of them looked like the one they passed through on their way here.

Fortunately, Amy, Illit and Koriisa didn’t encounter any more guards as they ran through the corridor of the enemy fortress.

And finally, after a several minutes of running, Amy, Illit and Koriisa indeed saw a large staircase some fifty feet ahead of them that goes to the right and downwards and that looked very much like the one they passed through on their way here.

”Let’s be careful.” Illit says quietly. ”I am quite sure that we will encounter more guards somewhere near here. If situation get critical, I can repeat my Mind Blast attack, although only once. But I would prefer to avoid using it unless it will be absolutely necessary.”

Koriisa nods to Illit silently, and moves slowly to the stairs. She begins walking down them quietly with her back to the wall, listening for anything that may be at the bottom or heading up towards them.

Amy nodded in acknowledgement of what Illit has just said, and begins to move very quietly down the stairs following the actions of Koriisa ahead of her.
Amy treads with caution as she trys to listen out for anything dangerous.

Illit initially followed Amy and Koriisa, but unlike them, she chose not to boldly proceed to the staircase; instead she stopped at the corner and peaked from behind it, looking out for a possible danger.

The top of the staircase is well-lit by a couple of ghostly torches, but the rest of the staircase as well as the bottom of it is lost in gloom; Amy and Koriisa cannot see if there is anybody in there.

Also, Koriisa cannot lean her back to the wall, as the staricase actually goes into a large hall and don’t have walls near them apart from the very top of the staircase.

However, the staricase has a rather high, about four feet high, in fact, rialings that are made from multiple steel rods, and Koriisa can walk with her back leaned to them.
