Mourne turned to face Alexia, Gods... she is beautiful when that fire enters her eyes... he took the scrolls and silently nodded his head. He slipped into a side room and came out a few minutes later wearing a warriors cape and clothing, along with the long sword at his belt. (similiar to Parn's from Lodoss War) "Let us begin then," he said as he hefted himself into the saddle of a grey stallion "we have little time to waste."

Curwyn was still thinking about the gems while they arrived to the stables. As he was told to look for a steed, he looked at the large horses, but they were really too big for him.
~They seem like good animals, but a smaller one would be better.~
He walked a bit until he found a suitable beast, a small brown pony, alone in his corner.
"Ah! I think that this one will be a good choice."

~Raven had kept silent through the breakfast watching them all, and had agreed to come with barely a nod. His thoughts were on the gems and the power they held but even then what did it matter. it was the hunt. He trusted non of them, he had a mission of his own. He remembered the man he had killed, and the parchment that led him here, Sometimes circumstances would allow only one course of action. And maybe, he'd find a way to kill that arogant mage and settle the score.~
~ He revealed a cold smile set on a rugged, stone like face and steel blue eyes framed in his long raven black hair, then went to take his horse, a fine, chestnut stallion.~
He rode his mount out of the stables and waited with mourne, for the others to join him.~

Alexia smiled and sighed ~Thank Pelor, I was quite afraid then. I wonder why he is wanted? After him helping me I can't see that he could be an evil man.~ She pondered.
After mounting her own ebony horse, she adjusted her backpack and sword so that it wouldn't harm her steed. She gently patted it's neck and smiled, he had seen her through some tough battles but he was as sturdy as she.
"We shall travel to the great library to gather the maps to the temples, by mid morning we shall be on our way to Cape Claw." She smiled and thanked the guards who helped them get a suitable horse.

Mialee wondered down to the stables. There were many fine horses. ~hmm we need one that can carry both me and Foster and i haven't ridden for a while so i might need one that'll be slow to start off.~
She looked around and saw a dark brown horse. It was slightly smaller than Alexis' horse but then again it looked sturdy enough to be able to carry her and Foster.
She place Foster on the horse then awkwardly mounted. Foster got himself comfortable by sitting on the horse' head and gripping the its ears.
~Last as usual mialee, you really should be a bit faster!~ she scolded herself.
She looked around and saw Mourne and Raven waiting together. Curwyn had mounted his pony. ~I wonder what his reason for coming was. I'm sure Alexis was expecting a few more, why didn't they come?~
After making sure she had her backpack secure and that Foster was holding on she rode up to where the others were waiting.
As she stood by the others she noticed Baltizar wasn't there.
~Where is he. He didn't say much at breakfast.~

"Blasted halfling, once I get ahold of him, he'll make sure to understand never to desicrate a holy spring again" *Raye mumbled to herself as she road on in search of the halfling thief she was tracking*
*She road on past some stables, noting a riding party gathering, and came across Alexia, who was busy adjusting her backpack* 'Excuse me miss, was wondering if you noticed a male halfling make his way through here, carrying a rather large statue of a Goddess?"

Curwyn mounted his pony, taking his time, and rode where the party was gathering.
"When are we leaving?"
Then he looked at a woman as she was coming toward the party. She came next to Alexia, and talked to her.
~Is she in the expedition?~

Mourne sighed as he turned his horse about,If we leave now we might make it far enough into the countryside to skip out on any orc raiding partys stumbling into our camp. He looked at Alexia for a long moment Why in the nine hells am i so attracted to her... sighing he reaches into the bag at his waist and pulls out his headband, tying it around his head and smiling behind his mask.

"No I am afraid not." Alexia looked over the woman.
"You look familure, did I not send a message to you also asking if you would lke to join our quest?" She was certain that she had asked her to join also.
"What do you say? Would you care to help us, we will be travelling far and you can look for your perpetraitor as we travel?!" She smiled at the new guest.

However, the dialogue was interrupted by the quickly aproaching sound of hooves. Those who looked to the source of this sound, saw the raider, upon the chestnut brown horse, fully armed and armored, who was coming their way.
The rider himself is a seriously looking man of human race, somewhere is his twenties, most likely in the middle or late twenties; it is nearly impossible to say for sure, as it clear that serious look upon his makes him look older then he really is. He has short blond hair, most of which are hidden beneath open helmet of his breastplate, clear blue eyes, and tanned complexion. He looks to be powerfuly built, and not novice in handling the blade, or any other weapon for that matter. Speaking of weapons, the rider has sheath with bastard sword behind his back, as well as well-made longbow, which looks like it requires no small strength just to bow it. Also behind his back, the rider carries large steel shield and two quivers of arrows.
As rider aproaches, his serious scowl transformes into a friendly smile, instantly making him look much younger, perheps in the early twenties.
"Excuse me, ladies and sires" says the rider "These are the castle stables, right? Can somebody direct me to the castle gates please? I don't know this city well, and I will be late if I won't hurry."

"A message to me m'lady? You must have me mixed up with another of my ilk. But then again, I've been away from home for a long spell now, and could have missed any messenger you'd a sent." *Just then, there was a sharp screech from the air, Raye lifted up her left arm, which was covered in a leather gauntlet, and her falcon, Meris landed upon it*
*She was about to speak with the falcon, when her attention was caught up by the newcomer*

"Why if it not the last of our group come to join us." Alexia smiled at the approaching newcomer, a certain joy sprung across, something which was rarely seen.
"You are indeed at the right place, but do not be troubled by your lateness for it is not frowned upon."
~This seems to be quite the merry bunch here, I am so glad that they have come to help me on this journey..........for it is not I that can wield such power.~ She smiled again, quickly snapping out of her mental reminder.
"Please what are your names dear lady and gentleman, for I am General Alexia of the Angiun army." She didn't like to be so formal about her title but she felt that she must explain who she is.
~These newcomers wouldn't just follow any old person on a dangerous quest now would they.~ She thought.

Mourne sighed again as he sat upon his horse, slowly he took out one of the scrolls and began to read. A small smile seemed to creep up behind the mask as he read. He did not acknowledge the newcomers as he was so absorbed that he didn't even noticed as a passing lady winked at him. Chakra is the basis for Ninjutsu Techniques... the Old Mage never put much stock in anything but magic. That may be why he never had me taught Chakra manipulation... or he was afraid i'd become too powerful for him to control...

"I am Raye of the Wood, and this is me companion Meris" *Indicating her falcon, and then she wondered, "Why, in the name of all nature, would a general need me?"* "I'm just a humble guardian of me woods m'lady. Now what would ye be needin' the likes of me fer?"
*Just then a dog came bounding up and excitedly jumped around the horses.* "Down Jups, down lad, yer'll be scaring the horses, and someone's gonna have a sore arse from falling.
*Jups promptly sat upon his haunches, his tongue hanging out as he panted* And this m'lady is Jups, a bit of a bounder, but ye'll get use to his ways, and no better friend can a hunter have, except for me Meris here."

Mourne looked up at Julian and shook his head in disgust. He turned back to his scrolls and ignored the stare of the little dragon, though Mourne didn't say anything when the little guy perched on his shoulder and began to read with him. He threw Mialee a sideways glance that seemed to have some emotion for once and continued to read.
