Saiyans.
(As you all know, Mourne has now with the aid of the Pure magic from the water gem; discovered his true identity as a Saiyan.)
A once vast and powerful race, these people depend on their ability to manipulate the energy from within a person and use it in both combat and also to aid them with flying and travelling without using a horse, and when they have exceptional skill and training are able to "teleport" over certain distances.

The Saiyan race is clouded in mystery and when the hero's travel out into the huge seas, they'll encounter more knowledge on their skills and location of possible clans which may have stood the test of time.

The Musol Yanii.
A tribe of humans who descended from the Saiyan race, they do not have such powers in raw form of energy like the Saiyans but they do have certain traits left from their ancestors.
They enjoy the spirit of battle but fight to protect the lands they have cultivated and call their homes. They do not seek out battle, or competition and teach their children to be more spiritual, and therefore have formed the monastaries which are scattered across this huge Isle that the hero's are on. The numbers aren't as large as normal humans or dragons but they still have quite a lot of influence on the population.
One of the most famous Musol Yanii, is Kira, a monk who started the Monastary in the Town of Ecalado, she helped to start the growth of this town many years ago; and now it has become a succesful place for visitors of the family shrine (family as in they're mostly Musol Yanii's) passed down from Kira herself. It is also a town for many traders and performance artists to gather and teach others, and also is the central hub of fighters to participate in tournaments and contests.

N.B Imagine a pterodactyl but smaller, the creature can only grow up to 5ft tall.
The Skydancers.
A race of dragons who have lost their collosal size and grew to be a more eligant and social race. Some say that because they saught to be more intelectual and social that they lost their size as a consequence over time.
During what time of year they are born in depends upon their element/power;
SPRING = Wind. Most Skydancers also find that they are slighty faster than others.
SUMMER = Fire. Most Skydancers also find that their skin is much tougher than others and can resit hot flame/fire better.
AUTUMN = Lightning. Most Skydancers also find that they are more agile than others with exceptional flying skills, but no increased speed.
WINTER = Ice. Most Skydancers also find that they are able to "swim" underwater, using their wings to propel themselves underwater as if swimming.
They can breathe their element as a weapon e.g. bolts of lightning, whilst flying.
They are very intelligent and can speak many languages, mostly being common and draconic to suit the needs of their fellow citizens/humans.

The Finathier - Brief
The Finathier are a race of sentient winged felines. They are extremely intelligent and can even “speak” by conveying thoughts telepathically. Each Finathier is linked to power: fire, water, ice and lightning amongst others.
Appearance
The Finathier come in a variety of sizes, colours and appearances. Put simply they are felines with two wings that sprout from between their shoulder blades. These wings are usually avian in nature, and come with the diversity that the meaning holds. They are always capable of flight when mature. A Finathier’s forepaws are replaced with birdlike claws – with 3 “fingers” and a “thumb.” With these claws they are able to grip most objects and even use simple ones – keys, food etc. but not objects that are too heavy or complex to use, swords, bow and arrows, puzzles etc.
Adult Finathier are crested and – like their wings – the colour matches the power domain they are linked to. (For example fire would be red, lightning – yellow, water – blue and ice – white/) This hair is worn in a variety of styles. Young adults often wear it up, spiked, like a Mohican. Elders will usually wear it down to hang around the muzzle – elders also have been known to be adorned with beards – which adds the their venerable look.
Due to them tracing back their lineage to felines, a Finathier’s bone structure is almost identical – with a few minor differences. The forelimbs are structured as felines but with slight bone differences to allow them to be used as “arms.” The hind legs are slightly tougher for more powerful kick offs and shock absorbents.
The wings are typically birdlike, but scaled wings – not unlike a bats or dragons – are not unheard of.
Lifespan
The Finathier are blessed with a long life, expanding on a small felines 1:7 human to feline age ratio, to a 7:1 human to Finathier. In other words, for everything 7 human years that pass the Finathier look as if they age 1 year. Finathierian’s generally mature around 126 years old (18 human years) though this is rough as each Finathier’s biology is different.
Racial Traits
Finathier live in very close knit communities of about 30, which is normally about seven or eight “families”
Domains
Each Finathier is linked to one of the elements and/or powers of the world. These powers are the elements: fire, water, wind and earth; as well as, Holy, Dark, Electricity and Psi. Almost all Finathier are linked to Psi and one other domain, though the Psi is weak in most Finathier – this allows them to communicate telepathically. The link to Psi is generally shown in a purple flecks in the creature’s feathers.
The linkage to a domain determines what a Finathier can do. For example those linked to the element of fire can produce flames and manipulate them. Holy linked Finathier are generally healers, and can heal a creature’s wounds – Holy linked Finathier also have Angelic like wings. Dark linked Finathier normally have some association with death. These Finathier rarely have avian wings - they are normally reptilian in nature. It takes many, many years to master ones domain – normally they do not gain full dominance of a domain until at least 420 years old. Youths who are just seeking knowledge about their skills can do no more than very basic things, create small fires for example, heal very shallow cuts, make somebody shiver from cold, or make light winds. Those with dominance of their domains could – if they wanted to – set entire villages alight, encase a castle in ice, bring somebody back from near death or create tornados. Very few reach this type of mastery though.
Thankyou to AylixPhyrehawk who went to the trouble to write me this information, many thanks and I hope you will enjoy playing your Finathier in my rpg!
