As the group starts to move towards the figure it seems to melt into the shadows. Suddenly a light is shining towards them and a young woman and a grey wolf are standing about 20 yards away. As the woman sweeps the beam of light between the characters you realize that this is Gables, the Spirit Warder and Appolo, her assistant.
"What are you doing in my neck of the woods?" Gables asks in her typical gleeful attitude. Gables is a shorter woman, about 5' 6" and is very young in appearance. Most assume that she is only in her late teens, but no one is sure. Appolo, on the other hand is in Hispo form, his prefered as he is a Get of Fenris and the "muscle" of the duo.
"You wouldn't be chasing after shadows would you?" she asked in her playful way.

"We wanted to see who that was," Gargoyle says, pointing towards where the figure had been standing. Her voice shows no hint of guilt or any sign that she knew she isn't supposed to be there. "But they seem to have dissapeared." She scratches her head absently and pulls a piece of straw out of her hair, presumably from the meeting in the barn. She inspects it, apparently doesn't find it very interesting, and flicks it away.

"We saw a person in the pasture and wished to make sure they belonged, otherwise they would have been removed, Spirit Warder. But since they seem to be gone perhaps we should continue on as well? My apologise if we disturbed you, Spirit Warder." Eagle-Eye states and bows somewhat. He waits to see what the others do while fiddling with his carving knife.

*Kaina has stayed back from the others, as she knows to go into the forbidden realm is blasphemy to the spirits. She speaks up from where she stands, her head slightly bowed in respect for Gables.* "Forgive the intrusion, my companions think themselves more cats than wolf in their excitement. As to the shadows, their secrets will be revealed when it is our time to know them."
(OOC - just react like I would huh? hmmmm, I can be quite unique at times - lol)

Gargoyle turns her head to look at Kania when she speaks. As the other garou apologizes for them, Gargoyle silently makes a face, frowning and sticking out her tongue at Kaina before turning back to the Spirit Warder.

*Kaina glares at Gargoyle's unprotected back, but holds herself in check as she does not want to offend the spirits by attacking this young one.* "Can we get on with our task? Every moment we waste here is a moment the Wyrm is allowed to gain."

Eagle-Eye shakes his head and leads the way to the caern entrance. "Ladies, let us head out and finish our task." As they reach the caern exit, he shifts to homid form after grabbing some clothes that he had stashed and getting them on.

Gables just laughs at the concerned cubs.
Gables - Don't worry about the old ones rules. Everyone needs to commune with the spirits. I don't mind others here, but you need to continue on your quest. You probably just saw Lichen, one of our "residents." Go in Gaia's grace.
OOC - OK, I need to know what all you are going to get together and how you plan to get to Chicago. It is about an hour away from the caern by car.
Also, I will gone this weekend, so I will not be posting again till Monday. As long as I know your basic plans I'll be able to get you set for your trip to Chi-town.

OCC: I know Eagle-Eyes doesn't own a car.... He just walks everywhere he needs to go. If no one else has a car then he'll just run as much as possible in crinos or lupine form.

Once again, Gargoyle follows Eagle-Eye, but not before giving the Spirit Pasture a wary backward glance.
OOC: No car here. Gargoyle prefers her own feet as a way to get around, though she's never had to go very far before. She wouldn't be adverse to public transportation (bus, train, etc.). She's not picky on how to get there, and she probably wouldn't mind running (depending on how far away it is, of course). I have no idea what we'd need or what's available to us, and Gargoyle hasn't the faintest idea what to bring either. At this point in the game she's really new to the "whole werewolf thing" (as she's likely to refer to it) and will probably just follow Eagle-Eye's or Kania with whatever they want to do.

Eagle-Eye sighs, "Well since driving doesn't seem to be an option......" He then loads his stuff into his backpack and shifts to lupine form and runs ahead 50 feet and looks back on the others, waiting with a silly grin on his face. (Ok so he enjoys running.... is that a crime? )

"Wait up!" Gargoyle shifts into lupine form as well. She gives a good shake when the transition is complete, still not completely familiar with her dark, shaggy form. As a wolf, Gargoyle's unkempt hair translates to a scraggly looking coat of mixed gray and white hair. Both ears are gray-black and her muzzle is white, finely lined in black. She blinks her yellow eyes a few times after the shake, adjusting to the height change, then runs a few steps after Eagle-Eye before looking back at Kania, waiting and smiling with her tongue out.

*Kaina growls softly, wraps the coat tightly around herself and shifts into a large black, long haired wolf, ears tipped with a lighter grey. Her amber eyes watch Gargoyle and Eagle-Eye run ahead of her, measuring their speed and stride; when she suddenly bounds forward.*
