Ahh time for a new rant.

Why is that a prefectly nice (well kind of) girl will stay with a man that beats the crap out of her? Here Donna is a (sort of) wonderful person and she has the boy friend from hell. Oh sure he was nice when I was around the house but as soon as Sharess came back he ripped into her(Sharess). Called her all sort of names and my sis asked him to stop so what the basterd do? He backhanded her just as I was coming in the door. Now I know that most guys would beat the living tar out of him but I just stood there and could not beleive it that a guest in my house hit my sister. But then he stared to do the worst thing he then started choking her. Ok now I was pissed off and just went psyco on his arse. Hell no one does that to any woman and most definetly my sister. I get the guy off Shar and get her in the computer room and tell her to lock the door. Then I try to get Donna to kick the arsehole out. Does she do it? No she let the jerk stay the night. (thank God Shar had to go to work that night) Donna BF tells me that Shar just needs to learn her place or else. He gets a sucker punch in the face.

Next morning: I go get Shar from work (big storm that night and Shar gets a little freacked out driving on the roads ) find out the jerk is still here. Not much I can do cause I have to get to work myself. So ask Shar to stay in the computer room and keep the door locked and give her a couple of throwing knives and a short sword. (she can use them fairly well) and leave for work not very happy about the situation. Call My friend (a cop on the local force here) and tell him everything that happened. He goes over and gets the arse out of the house and on the next plane back home.

Later that day: I have a long talk with Donna find out that he beats her. I tell her that no man has a right to beat a woman and the same goes for women as well. Got her talk out of ever seeing the jerk again. Donna breaks up with the jerk.

The next day: Find out that she and him are still going out and that he wants to come back over. Tell Donna that no way in hell is he to ever come back in this house. She saids that I can't do that. Shar saids that I'm right that the jerk will not be allowed in this house ever again. Donna trys to argue her point but Shar shows her the bruses on her neck. End of subject.
Sharess trys to tell Donna that the jerk is not right for her Donna doesn't want to hear it. Said the he is really very nice and that Shar should be less pushy around him. I find out what started the whole thing. Sharess asked him to pick up all the uesed condums and he flipped out on her about it. Tell Donna to seek proffional help caues she is really wacked out if she thinks that Shar asked for the beating he gave her and if that is how he treats a friend then how does he treat her? Donna strats to cry and then goes a gets yet another job. (she got 3 now 1 full tme and 2 part time)


Now all I can say is that. Why the hell is she staying with the jerk and why does she think that its ok to get hit? Hell if my sis found out I hit a girl she beat the crap out of me. I don't know about any of the rest of you but I was raised to respect a woman and to never harm a woman. I mean it was ok to wreasle with my sis but as soon as she said stop then I stopped. Yet this man not only hits Donna but hit my sis and tryed to kill her. Yet Donna stayts with him and why I ask you why?

I knew it was too good to be true. No problems with anything whatsoever. That didn't last long and is all my own fault.

Did you know this? Finland has the most expensive broadband connections in the world. I pay good money (58€/mo - that is around 72 USD) for my meager 1024/1024 conn. On the plus side, our local phone company has had excellent service so far, they haven't charged anything for their support service, public IPs and so on.

These ISP bastards changed their policy about old connections (they changed something about what they do around here), and now they charge €15/mo for public IP and € 10 for ADSL modems. And everybody's mad at them. What we did, was collectively cancel about 120 contracts (in a town of <50k inhabitants, it is supposed to be significant) and still promote cancelling contracts with the phone company.

So, I get another conn (1024/512 this time) and the company guys say it'll be up last Friday. Guess if that happened.

This day marks the 9th day without my precious ADSL. I had no idea it was so gooooooood to be able to surf all day all night, until I wasn't able to do so.

I hate this crappy public computer, I hate all these people around when I want to have some quality time online, and I feel I'm cheating my computer (even if I'm fully dressed now).

You said it. Now I have my new €50/mo conn (no pub IP though, but I got all iron free for taking this up for 1 yr =)) and the locals are promoing their brand spankin new 1M conn for 10€ (U$D 12) cheaper than the old one.

Nothing is impossible if you try hard enuff, I tell ya, nothing.
