Not a 100% sure where to put this, so I think I'll stick this in here.
The inner gorilla was trolling the board today and came across something that bothered me. So, I thought I'd share. I notice there are games that haven't had posts in over a month. I've PM'd the owners of those games, so that's not a problem.
My problem is this: If you run a game and you know that the game has died, PM one of the admins about it. While we may have godlike powers, we are not omniscient and a little heads up once in a while would be nice. I found one board where the owner had specifically pronounced his game dead, but neglected to tell anyone other than the people in his game. Grrr. Save me the time and effort and take the 39 seconds out of your day to PM an admin to clean up the board. Too easy. Much simpler than having me chase people around to find out if a board is dead or simply resting. If you're taking a break, tell us. We don't mind. Heck, my own Mithril game has taken a few breaks in the last little while. This is not a problem.
But, my mindreading software is still in beta testing and tends to burn out the brains of test subjects. Please don't make me unleash the inner gorilla and slowly pull off your arms while holding you upside down and bouncing your head on the floor.
Thank you.

Added note: Players, if you decide to drop out of a game, please inform the DM. That way they don't have to bother you with messages, and hold up the game waiting for you to post.

Good on both points Hussar and LWW. And this is probably the best location for this topic H.
