Soon after the player will introduce his or her nation into the "Nation Descriptions thread", I will post a separated thread that will be centered around events in this particular nation.
It is going to work the following way:
I post an event, and player post what actions he or she makes in response to this event.
If player wishes to start working on some particular project, he should post it in his nation's thread.
If player wishes to start working on some particulary covered project (like establishing a spy network, working on Weapons of Mass Destruction, sponsering terrorists/raids into other country, preparing to start a full-scale war [it takes time to prepare for war]), he or she may PM me about this rather then posting in in his nation's thread (I hope that none of you would use such metagame information anyway, but... It's better not to take chances, ne?).
If player wishes to negotiate and or establish trade relations (on government level) with other country(ies), he should start a separated thread about their two (or more) countries negotiations.
P.S.
That's how it will be for now. The gaming process may change to a smaller or greater degree as the game progress; I believe that all of us learning here, as I doubt that any of us have much experience with this kind of games (I played [never GMed] this kind of games a couple of times, but it was a very long time ago, about three or four years ago, to be more precise).
P.P.S.
This thread remains open for any comments and/or suggestions you may have.

Keep in mind, that the events are supposed to be happening more or less in real time, and your ruler cannot present everywhere. For example, if your ruler is currently holding a discussion with a neighbouring nation's ruler, he or she is not present to deal with events and issues, although he or she is going to be informed about events and issues of highest importance anyway; and vice versa, when your ruler is in the process of solving some event or issue, he is not present if the neighbouring nation's ruler will decide to discuss something with him.
Of course, your nation's government may include others highly-powerful figures, who may take care of certain responsibilities while the ruler is busy elsewehre.

As soon as your ruler will make a decision (and you will post it into appropriate thread), I assume that his or her subjects will proceed to fulfill it at best of their abilities, unless they will have a good reason not to do it. Just wait, and I will post the results of your decisions when the time will come for that (your ruler can naturally take care of his other businesses while he is waiting for the report).

While I want to give each player enough time to make a decision, sometimes, more events and issues will take place before the player will be able to deal with the curent one(s). Also, there will be times when the current event or issue will develop further before the player will make a decision about it.

Also, for for the sake of handling trade with more ease (we are to have fun here, not to overburden ourselves with details), I suggest we simply use the Resource Units, for example Wood Units, Iron Units, Stone Units and so on. The rate of exchange between the units is up to players to decide.

Time Scale:
Currently, there is no stict time scale (i.e. relation of our real time to the game time) as if we set a stict time scale, all the discussions will go unrealisticly slowly (and I assume that each ruler has a telegraph).
Whenever you post some action, I will post its results when I feel enough time has passed. In most cases, I will post the results of your decisions the next time I’m online or on the next day, however, in case with some decisions, it will take longer period of time for them to be accomplished. If for some reason you need to know when a period of time will pass, just ask me, and I will tell you when it happens.
If players wish to establish a more strict time scale, however, it will be possble; but I will need players’ help in that matter.

I suggest we go a little more slowly for some time, as a few important events (most notably, the negotiations of a non-agression pact between Prince Shevardenzen II and King-Protector Jaime Lannister I) are currently in motion, and they will resolve one by one. And so, you will have no more issues from me, until the current ones will be resolved. I am sorry about causing the delay for some players, but I feel this delay is necessary for the game to continue to go smoothly.

Since quite a few events that are set in a slow motion (Prince Shevardenzen’s facing a decision, Earl Shilton’s offer of trade meeting, a police investigation in Earl Shilton, and finally an ocean encounter between the Protectorate of Castelry Rock and the Queendom of Devine Athena’s ships) currently take place, time will be temporally frozen… Well, not really frozen, it’s just that the day isn’t going to end until all (or, at least, the most) of these events will resolve.

A note to our newest players – Agent Regina and Edmure Tully.
Although moving your nation into the region created for this game (The Isolated Lands) is voluntary, not compulsory, it would allow other players to quickly look through all the nations that are currently in this game, including your nations. The choice whether to move your nation into The Isolated Lands or no is yours, however.
