For an unlikely… …case if somebody (maybe Challenger?..) will be interested in DMing a Mechwarrior RPG here, in the Shadow of the Dragon Gaming Forum (not some new/other forum), I’d like to note that a middle-aged ex-LCAF tankman is desperately in need for money and looking for employment…

History:
[Early Childhood – Blue Collar, roll 8] A native of Lyran Commonwealth, Gunter was born in a middle-class family, with his father being a civilian technician and his mother being a saleswoman. As long as he remembers, Gunter was interested in his father’s work, and often begged his father for an opportunity to help him in fixing something at home, and Gunter’s father as happy enough to oblige more often then not. Various vehicles were the only things that interested Gunter even more then fixing things, and he often combined these two interests by fiddling about his father’s car, surprising his father with his mechanical aptitude.
[Late Childhood – High School, roll 7] When he was of age, Gunter went into a local high school like most other children. His school years were mostly unremarkable, although he used to be a sport hero in his school and managed to make a long-term friendship with another leading player in his school’s football team.
[Higher Education – Military Enlistment, roll 6] After the school, however, Gunter refused to pursue a civilian career, and against his father’s wishes, enlisted into a military service, which resulted in Gunter’s break-off with his family. Though his basic training had a slight focus on support service, later Gunter was chosen for “Cavalry” training, where he showed himself to be a capable tankman and even got a little “extra” training from one of their unit’s technicians.
[Real Life… “Yeah! It’s time to kick a$$ and chew bubblegum!” …three Tours of Duty: Inner Sphere, rolls 8, 3, 7] The first years of military service passed more or less well for Gunter, and he even got a chance to prove himself in a several raiding missions against the pirates; but then, one of such missions turned out to be a complete failure, and Gunter was captured by the pirates, and during his captivity, he often found himself exposed to pirates’ brutal tortures. Finally, Gunter escaped from the captivity, but even then, he lived for more then a year on a backwater planet, until LCAF unit accidentally stumbled upon him. When Gunter was revealed to be a LCAF soldier, who was already believed to be dead by then, he was re-enlisted into a military service. But by then, Gunter already grew tired from fighting and suffering for other people’s cause. And after two more years of uneventful garrison duty, Gunter left LCAF.
[Ne’er-Do-Well, roll 10] Gunter spent next four years doing very little, mostly just honing his skills and doing various odd-jobs to keep himself from starving to death.
[Lostech Prospector, roll 10] But then, Gunter was unexpectedly contacted by his old school friend - Farson Harrington, who became a free trader with a DropShip of his own by then. In one of his recent trading trips, Farson came across rumors about a major SLDF cache and was hurryingly assembling a team to investigate these rumors. With little else to do, Gunter agreed to take a risky offer. But unfortunately, the “major SLDF cache” turned out to be nothing more then a dusty old army base with virtually nothing salvageable, and after the lengthy and fruitless expedition, Gunter found himself a middle-aged man with neither money nor job, only his well-honed skills of a tankman…
