Yep, I Kaber have decided to post the (Non ad&d) adventures of my gaming group and myself here. The mayhem we cause outside of the game, and to give you all a glimps into the peculiar world that is Pensylvainia, USA.
You see, I was born and bred in the West. The rocky mountains were my backyard. Colorado, Utah, New Mexico. These places were my home untill I began my exodus eastward. It began in the cold climate of Minnesota. Land of ice and snow, home to the rooster bullet, the Vickings and misquitoes. Now I have come here, to a place that feels like home. An Amish paradise and home to my beloved LWW. And while I have had many adventures along the way it is only the adventures here that matter now. With that in mind I hope you will enjoy the antics of LWW, Mh, Arjun, myself and the many others who come our way.

Ok, intorductions asside MH wanted me to post out ghost hunting adventure after our last game so here it is.
We had just finished gaming around midnight. ShenonSenchi Dave(or whatever he calls himself) and his partner had already left and MH had dropped in to visit. I was still doing a little rap up for the Minatuar, Dwarf and Anthony's Half Orc when our discussion turned to topics of a creepier nature, Hauntings. As Arjun, Anthony, Emil, MH, LWW, THD( Tall Dark and Handsom who plays the minatour and the dwarf) and I were talking of places that were nearby and supposedly haunted when I remembered that we had a few covered bridges close by that were said to hold spirits. One the spirit of an angry Amish man and the second of three children who had drowned. Well since we were not at all tired we diecided to take a peek into the mystic world of the undead and we all piled into our cars and off we went.
THD was navigating since he new where the bridges were and I was tour guide. Now of course I had to dress for the part and so donned an oil skin trench coat and my leather hat and out we went.
The roads were dark and narrow. Twisting this way and that past farms and feilds of corn and after one wrong turn we came over a hill and upon the first bridge. It loomed before us a wooden maw waiting to swallow us in the darkness about it. We parked at the side of the road and exited our vehicles.....well all except MH who informed us that there was a police officer at the top of the hill, waiting and watching. MH had a little too much to drink and was nervouse but THD, Arjun and myself bravely approached the officer. Of course I was a little leary as I looked a little like a bandit and alot like Van Helsing but hey. As we approached the officer spot lighted us and told us to stay where we were. Then asked, of all people, me to step forward. I obliged and told the officer that I was taking my friends and I ghost hunting and site seeing. I wasn't sure of his reaction but the truth sounded better than some weak story. To my surprise he nodded and told us to keep quite and continue on our way when we were done. He did not want to return and if he did there would be problems. We assured him that were would be no problems and that he would need not return and so off we went.
Once inside the bridge we began to explore. Dusty and wooden the bridge felt sturdy if not often used and there were two windows along each wall. One of which held a spiders web. We could hear the water gurgeling below us and the clump of feet along the wooden floor as we explored its length, testing our sences, seeking out the tell tale signs of spirits. A brush of cold air, a whisper or sigh of death. The tingeling at the back of our necks or some unexplained phenomena.
Our party dispersed. Some climbing up the rafters while others stepping outside to veiw the water and still others found places beneath the floor boards. MH for one. He had crawled beneath the floor of the bridge and was half dangeling above the swift waters. We spent some time there just feeling the calmness of the place and eventually began to regroup, but where was MH? We called but no answer, we searched but could not find him and then.....Arjun stumbled across him, a disembodied face peering at us from the floor. Arjun did the only thing he could do. He snapped a picture and MH almost lost his balance as the flash blinded him. I tell you it makes quite a picture.
We soon left and found the second bridge, a tranquile place, calm and free. We encountered no spirits that night but we were non the less pleased. We left after sitting on the wall outside the second bridge and talking. Making our way home around 4a.m. We had fun and it was worth it just to go out and find such places. To see them in another light. May the spirits rest in peace and maybe we'll come across them another day. I wonder what were gonna do next time? Maybe another one of Anthony's great turtle hunts? Or the discovery of Amish buggies with turn signals? Well I'm sure the Ren fair will contain a tale or two.
Untill next time.................. muwahahahahaha

"You're grounded mister!!!" is what you'll be hearing if you come driving up in that bike thingy.
*sigh* Tried on our outfits for the Ren Faire tonight......Kaber and our son look so handsome in their surcoats, and Kaber has that mysterious look when he pulls his cowl up.
Now I'm a bit worried about my wench's outfit.....can't wear a bra with it, so more bounce to the ounce....and I better not bend forwards too far or.......

We need to plan a "ghost hunting" date......I don't mean doing it after a gaming session....I mean a Saturday night where we do some serious paranormal investigating.
Oh, and btw guys, this time, when we go to breakfast at Cactus Willie's on Sunday.....you're buying for Kaber and me....period.
