Greetings to you! I am Shinryu, founding member #1 of the Cherry Fanclub, to which the mighty Black Robed One is a mere later addition. I have looked around your forum for some time, and have decided to join. I enjoy a game of good old-fashioned Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: 2nd Edition every once in a while, in fact, I am DMing a game in reality. I've never particularly cared for 3rd Edition, but 2nd has always been fun for me. For video games, I tend to be old-fashioned, as well. I usually shun the newer systems and games, instead turning to the Super Nintendo, or the Sega Genesis. My favorite video game would be "Warsong 2." A strategy/RPG for the Sega Genesis, that was never released outside of Japan. Anyway, Saber Marionette J. There is only one word that can properly describe it. Perfect. As is surely true with Black Robed One, this series holds a special place in my heart that nothing else will ever occupy. It is very special to me for many reasons. Saber Marionette J was the first anime series I watched and recognized as anime. I had seen others, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Galaxy Express 999, but, I hadn't realized they were anime until after I had found this gem. No other series touched my heart the way Saber Marionette J did. When I saw the ending, I honestly cried. By that time, I had already fallen in love with those three angels, Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry. Because of this, I was heartbroken to see them Select the following to reveal Saber Marionette J, Episodes 24-25 spoilers: go on their suicide mission to save all of Terra II. After I had gotten over the pain of the ending, I watched it again. It had just as strong, if not a greater effect on me than the first time. Soon after, I recieved Saber Marionette J Again and J to X. I was so happy to be able to see more of them, that I watched them immediately. While J Again was a bit on the fluffy side, I enjoyed it nonetheless. As for J to X, I never expected any of it. The first part with Evil Faust, the second half in Xi'an, none of it. Select the following to reveal Saber Marionette J to X Episode 25 spoilers: When the girls lost their memories, I remember fierce hatred for Hess, and Yan Min, for what they did. Then sadness. I was on the verge of tears through most of the second half. When they left on their second suicide mission, one they could not return from, I... I was so depressed. I could barely concentrate on anything else. Again I cried.Anyway, after watching the whole thing several times, I started thinking. Most of the series had us asking, who would Otaru choose? Which of the three would he have as his bride? I asked myself, who would I choose? Eventually, I came up with an answer: Cherry. I realized that she was, in fact, the one for me. I love everything about her. Her kindness, her sincerity, her intelligence, personality, everything. While I may not participate on your forum as much as I'd like, I hope you will accept me, and that I will enjoy my time here, as much as I have enjoyed my presence on all the other forums I have joined.

Yay!! Konnichi wa, Shinryu-san! O-genki desu ka?
You cannot imagine how happy I am to see you in the Shadow of the Dragon, even if you won’t be able to spend much time in here!
Unfortunately, there aren’t seem many fans of Saber Marionette J in here; at last when I posted a thread “About Saber Marionette J” in here (which I posted over a year ago – just after watching the first nine programs of J, and in a very bad translation at that; so my views/opinions I’ve posted in there are HIGHLY outdated by now), nobody replied, and I kinda accepted that I am the only fan of Saber Marionette J in here. Well, now there are two of us!
Anyway, feel free to pay Anime And Comics section (http://shadowdragons69.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=anime) a visit, Shinryu-san. There weren’t any new posts in there lately, but should you wish to start some discussion or pick one of the old ones up, I’ll be sure to reply at best of my ability (when I have time, and if I have anything to say), and perhaps some others will join us later.
And if you would like to look at some anime-related humor, I would recommend either “Bubblegum Crisis - what characters have never said” (http://shadowdragons69.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=anime&action=display&n=1&thread=1177) or “You know you’re having a bad day when…” (http://shadowdragons69.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=anime&action=display&n=1&thread=1185); the later has a small Saber Marionette J section… Mmm… My personal favorite from it is…
…But honestly, of these two, I like BGC-related humor much better (despite all my love for Saber Marionette J)…
…LOL!
Anyway, it was a great introduction post, Shinryu-san! If you wish to tell more about yourself, you can do it in “Who Am I? Tell Us About Yourself Here.” thread (http://shadowdragons69.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&n=1&thread=3&start=60)
And if you will ever find time and desire to join an online RPG, I am happy to tell you that there are still quite a few of them running around here. I would especially recommend “Beyond the Circle – A journey across the Planes” online campaign by EK – Shadow of Death, not only it is a very good game with (naturally) a very good DM, but it is also primary based on your favorite 2nd edition of AD&D. As about my own “Oerth and Beyond” online campaign… *^_^* …Well, I don’t really feel like praising my own DMing (especially since it is far from being perfect), but if you ever wish to join it, you will be most welcome, Shinryu-san! Just ask me for details, and I will provide them as soon as I am able to, Shinryu-san.

Hehe, well, considering that my name means "God of Dragons" (I think) It was only a matter of time until I showed up here, eh?
I don't have a lot of time right now, otherwise you can bet that post count of mine would jump into the double digits almost immediately.
It's good to see you again, BRO! I've missed you since you left us. (Though you already know that)
I've had a bit of a look around, like I said, and I will look more when I have more than 10 minutes to spare. I read a little bit about your campaign, and it does sound interesting. But it's only for high-levelled characters, right? The one I've been using is only level 7 right now. =O
And, now my time is up, so I'll have to end here. But I'll be seeing you around! Thanks for welcoming me!
[EDIT] I suppose it would've been better if I had discovered this place two years ago, when I was still really obsessed with these kinds of things. Now, I'm more into anime than RPGs, although I still do enjoy the odd game.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun here.

Hehe, well, considering that my name means "God of Dragons" (I think) It was only a matter of time until I showed up here, eh? Well, I didn’t really expect you to join, truth to tell (even though I hoped that you will), knowing that you are mainly anime fan, not RPG fan. It was truly a pleasant surprise to see you in the Shadow, Shinryu-san! It's good to see you again, BRO! I've missed you since you left us. (Though you already know that) Yes, I know, and I thank you very much for caring, Shinryu-san (along with Jedimdo-san and Luvweaver-san)! I DID, actually, thought about returning to BJP, but… The main difficulty is that I am busy enough in the Shadow nowadays, and I wouldn’t find much time to post at BJP even IF I return there. But the things may change. Or may not. It remains to be seen. I've had a bit of a look around, like I said, and I will look more when I have more than 10 minutes to spare. I read a little bit about your campaign, and it does sound interesting. But it's only for high-levelled characters, right? The one I've been using is only level 7 right now. =O Well, technically, nothing prevents you from joining my “Oerth and Beyond” online campaign with a moderately low-leveled character; this campaign is a freeform one, meaning that it doesn’t rely heavily on any set of rules, and thus, the level is less important in there then in by-the-book RPGs. The lower level WILL, however, mean that your character will generally display less skill then other PCs (although you will certainly encounter some enemies/NPCs who will be of an equal or lower level then you are), and thus, won’t likely be able to handle difficult as well as other PCs (although in some ocassions, well-thought-out action will compensate for lower level, and it is not impossible to defeat a stronger and/or more skillful opponent with a clever tactics… Like some enemies demonstrated to my PCs lately!) Either way (I’ll repeat myself), if you are interested in joining my “Oerth and Beyond” online campaign, you are most welcome, Shinryu-san! I DO, however, feel obligated to tell you that it can be quite deadly at some parts, and our friendship won’t necessary ensure your character’s survival… As you know from one of my e-letter to you, Shinryu-san, I can be a little harsh when it comes to DMing. But honestly, you may feel more at ease in EK’s “Beyond the Circle” online campaign, at it is supposed (the very first battle we had nearly got us all killed) to be for more average-leveled characters. Either way, if you are interested in joining my “Oerth and Beyond” online campaign, Shinryu-san, please tell me that either in this thread or via PM, and I’ll provide you with some “introduction” info (which you may have seen in my other posts, actually) about my “Oerth and Beyond” online campaign. Oh well, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun here. I hope you will! Oh, and on related note, if EK ever warn you against using smileys (mumbling about some universal plot to corrupt the minds of unaware users or some other nonsense… ), don’t listen to him! He just don’t want for us to be happy! And, now my time is up, so I'll have to end here. But I'll be seeing you around! Thanks for welcoming me! Ja ne, Shinryu-san! See you around!

I always have been an RPG fan. It's merely been that, in the past couple of years, I've gotten to enjoy anime so much more. I still like playing RPGs, I just don't do it as often. And, I knew it would be, that's why I joined Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see on that, eh? Already, one of the people who left a while back, has returned. Star Princess. Well, as I said in the thread about my character, I think I'll stay out of your campaign for a while. TBH, I'm still learning how to be a wizard. I keep playing her like I would a warrior. I created her during the first game I ever DMed, and we already had enough warriors, so I made a mage. Two firsts at once made it a bit difficult, and it was mainly because I was the DM that I got away with a lot of the stuff I had her do. I hope you will! Hehehe, I'll keep that in mind.

Already, one of the people who left a while back, has returned. Star Princess. Mmm… Star Princess is back, ne? That’s good news for sure, I remember her as a very nice person, even though we didn’t talk much. Well, as about me, you know from my last e-letter to you that I MAY come back, it will depend mostly on whether or not I will have time for that. Well, as I said in the thread about my character, I think I'll stay out of your campaign for a while. TBH, I'm still learning how to be a wizard. I keep playing her like I would a warrior. And I’ll repeat myself, if you would like to role-play Arche here, in the old forum, EK’s “Beyond the Circle” online campaign is probably the best place for that.
