Hello, this is my first rp so, bear with me lol. I need charecter descriptions and levels before you are allowed to post in the actual rp thread which I'll be making soon. Me, the DM will be guiding you along probably as a panther most of the time. It starts of in a town called Trishtar, where the local priestess of night sent word about a stolen magical item that she needs to have retrieved as soon as possible. She is willing to pay a high some to have the item returned, but only if it is unused and one of her clerics goes along. Like I said, I need charecter descriptions and feel free to offer advice and stuff. ;D

Er... I'm not sure what levels the charecters should be... I need a bit of help deciding.

While you are thinking about level, I have another question: Is it only base races or could it be something importest from a book/something else. I was thinking possibly of importing a Night Elf I have from playing a War Craft campaign if it is fine with the DM of course.

lol, you can be just about anything, within reason. As long as your charecter is not a mary sue/ munchkin, go right ahead. I am always looking forward to different races/ charecters I have not yet encountered in my reading and rping. I think I will leave charecters at Level one.

Raises his hand and waves it wildly. Pick me! Pick me! Now to decide what/who I'm going to role play. To anyone wanting to play - since this will be Tellyna's first time DMing, I suggest keeping the character simple. Don't make it too hard on her with some obscure race or class with odd bonuses and traits.

And I suppose if we choose a non-standard race we should provide the DM with a brief description of it and how it differs from similar races she'd already know about. Right T?

I'm here for the game. I'd like to know if the adventurers KNOW that the phantom cat is there looking for them to join in the quest of the stolen object though. Thulian--Halfling Fighter/Thief

Um......This game is starting right? 'Cause I posted in the game thread already, and I see the GM has posted since there but nothing in this game.

I have a couple of ideas for a character, but it will depend upon what some of the others select. It will either be a normal, human cleric OR if others use non-standard races/character classes, I'll pick something else.

Ok, this will be my first online freeform, although I generally play this way with some friends using previously played on paper characters.
DM has asked for character descriptions so here is mine.
My name is Liveoak I am a blend of human and elven, my mother would say the best of both worlds, my father the worst. Needless to say I haven't talked to dad in a number of years. I send a bit of coin to mother when I can.
I make my way in this world doing what comes to me. Sometimes I guard a rich merchant or mule train, sometimes I hunt for a hungry town, if the crowd is good I put on a show with the only thing of value I posses, my grandfathers bow. Doing trick shots like cutting rope or splitting an arrow. I once hit a thrown apple twice before it hit the ground. Some of it is luck, some of it is skill. Personally, I think most of it is luck.
Some people say some of it is grandads bow. Yeah, it's different, all layered with wood and what might be horn. Mom, said he brought it back from a war. All I know is that it is the size of a shortbow but hits like a guardsmens longbow. What I do know is that it's not magic. Had that tested by a wizard long ago. I did have an old elf tell me it had the mark of a masters lifework on it. As long as it keeps my belly full.
Me? I'm middlin height 5'7" or so, light for a human heavy for an elf I would say 140ish. My clothes are patched but clean. My cloak is the best I can afford, by best I mean warm and tight woven to shed the rain. Not that fancy stuff. Armour? never had any of my own. I've worn it when required (and provided) by a job. Personally I don't care for it. If it ain't at bow range I've already milked the bull. Bunch of metal ain't gonna help me run.
So am I in? I could use an advance.
Liveoak Halfelven

good, we can get started now. And no, the adventurers are looking for the Temple of Night where the priestess waits for them.

Denise, the beautiful, blonde human, yet air head cleric will be joining the group. If that's ok with our DM.
She looks like Jessica Simpson. And has the same brain power too!
