The giant smirked slowly and took a step forward. The ground and air moved to shake Jerick, but O'Kir's presence strengthened Jerick enough such that it was not as powerful as before. With a sturdy stride, the silver giant lashes out with its spear, which hurtles towards Jerick at an abnormally fast pace.
Jerick... says O'kir Pick up the shield, master. Quickly![/color]

Jayce decides to tap into the MindScape to watch. He focus on his Mind Sphere to give him better leverage on the scene.
The days seem to slow down before him. The feeling of time moving slowley must be a result of a sphere he never used yet, however he does know basic psionics so this was weird for even him. Oh well, he decides it was the new Sphere.. This Mind Sphere was a better one then the old one he had awhile ago when he even got here.

Jerick has never questioned his oldest freind's wisdom and experince before, and so, he didn't do it this time. Jerick, quickly shifting O'Kir into his right hand, as because of his special training (OOC: i.e. Monkey Grip feat) Jerick could wield greatswords in one hand nearly as easily as in both hands. Then Jerick reached for the medium shield, which he dropped before, took it into his left hand and quickly set it into defense position in attempt to deflect the spear, as it was clear, that Jerick won't have enough time to simply dodge it now...

<OOC - Remember, holding a greatsword in one hand is relative to your psionic ability, not your feats (which mean virtually nothing here). The ability for you to hold a greatsword in one hand and a shield in another is the same as O'Kir's ability to use a psionic defense and psionic offense in the same round.>
[mindscape]
Jerick effortlessly releases one hand, causing his will to weaken slightly, but not enough to stop him from raising the shield before him. The spear, now a blue, electrified bolt, hits the shield square on, exploding in a bright yellow flash. The shield seems partially scathed, but still serviceable as the spear disintegrated from view.
Know you psionics, hmm? mused the giant As do I...
That said, he disappears from view, nothing except his bright red scourge, crackling with electricity in sight. The scourge moves back to a fighting position and prepares to strike.

"Hope to make youreself invisible, don't you?" says Jerikc, smiling wickedly "Well, I'll tell you someting, fiend, this isn't going to work!"
Silently, Jerick called to O'Kir to allow him to see realizty ignoring all invisibility effects and various illusions (OOC: True Seeing spell), but he was surprised, when he recieved no response from his faithful friend. Apparantly, O'Kir's magical powers was of no use in the Mindscape...
All of this took Jerick only a few seconds, yet it was long enough to waste Jerick's opportunity to unleash a psionic attack against Psurlon...
[OOC:] I believe, that that's Psurlon's turn to use his psionic attacks again. [OOC:]

The red scourge blasts down, whipping Jerick and stinging his mind. Jerick's vision begins to cloud and the world appears to turn red. Almost as instantly as the giant hit Jerick, feelings of primal rage shoot through Jerick's body and mind.

As primal rage shoot through Jerick's body and mind, Jerick counterattacked the first and only hostile object which was in his view - the red scourge; hacking at it wildly, without bothering about his defense...

The scourge pulled back quickly, but snaking around wildly, it irritated Jerick heavily, who struck at it with his blade. The blue weapon cut through the air with unnatural ease, but slid off the giant's weapon without scathing it in the least.
Jerick...I lend you my power[/i] called out O'Kir.
All of a sudden, Jerick's rage melted away, as if a bucket of water had been quickly poured over him. He grew slightly and pieces of metal armor plating sprung up from his skin, protecting him.
The giant snarled beastialy at this, angred at O'Kir's interference. It whispered slightly to itself and made a motion in the air with two fingers held straight up in the air.

The rutterkin circle around Mako, Darkwalker, Elena, Jerick, the stranger, and Nos Uthanra. They grin uglily and snarl, circling their weapons. Nos Uthanra's body jerks towards the nearest rutterkin, as the psurlon attempts to offer the shadowfiend as a sacrifice to the blue-skinned fiends. The psurlon sags forward in obvious weakness as the electricity and poison from Nos Uthanra's darts begin to take effect. However, it does not seem to lose its will and manages to control him nonetheless.
The Dark Knight leans forward, examining the arena
I hope I've considered everyone. There can be no room for anyone lacking some suffering. he says. Tapping into his aura, the Dark Knight looks over to Jayce, Jayce, it seems that our little coterie down there needs some help. Would you care to offer your services? Or would you stay here and watch them suffer just a little bit more?

As Jerick's rage melted away, Jerick was able to concentrate of fighting once again.
Gathering all his willpower, as he understood that only it will help him to prevail in this strange fight, Jerick leaped to his opponent, hoping to reach him with greatsword before him will get a chance to launch another attack. Jerick keeps his shield ready to defelct giant's next attack, for the case if giant's reflexes will be quicker then Jerick's.

Jayce smiles at the thought of him helping, and smiles more for the suffering.
A quick thought ran across his head to make his maind up. "Well, they are a bit weak mentaly, if I help them I get the advantage of fighting them myself, although the suffering is an energy I have not tapped into myself, and would love to gather. My job is to collect energy yes, but maybe I have the of winning...?"
Jayce gets up from the audiance area, and makes his body mental. Then he assumes his mental spirit form and enters the Mindscape completely.
[In the MindScape his Sword and Armor, and a weil looking blaster cannon on his back is visable since they are Mental Weapons. His Armor is a Ruby Bluesh color]
It seems you guys are ina bit of a bind. Well I could help I guess... It must be the giant you are fighting, well I guess I could give a small hand...

<OOC - Jayce, I've PMed you. Please edit your previous post>
Jerick's greatsword sinks quickly and hits the giant's skin, clanging off of his thick skin but barely penetrating. It grins down at Jerick as he falls downwards and jabs the iron spear into Jerick's leg quickly, piercing his armor and sapping Jerick's will.
The sensation is indescribable to the point that passing out would not seem merciful enough. Jerick lies on the ground with the iron spear holding him to the ground, groaning in agony. The giant uses its other two hands to steady a giant longbow over the fighter's body.

Heh. Hold my mind all you like you miserable worm, but I shall have the last laugh. Can you feel your life force pouring out of you? Can you feel the wounds I made slowly, excruciatingly siphoning off the last of your vitality? Do you know that you are already dead? And, there is nothing you can do about it. I who have walked in shadow when your kind was still digging in the dirt will live to walk over your grave. Die, little wriggling nightcrawler, die painfully.

The second psurlon collapses to the ground, Nos's powerful poison coarsing through its veins. It, however, decides to wreak whatever havoc it can during its time. Utilizing a discipline on itself, the psurlon attempts to slow the poison, and possibly expel it. Simultaneously, it reaches out with its mind and begins to form a large sphere of blue paint over Nos Uthanra's head, hoping to douse him and thus negate the effects of his invisibility.

Even though pain have always been a part of Jerick's existance, the agony he felt prevented Jerick from thinking or acting reasonably. All he could do was an attempt to cover his face and upper part of his body with medium shield, while swinging his greasword blindly...
