((This is my next attempt at a good RP based in the world of warhammer 40k. Join as a human. Your starting equipment is limited to either 1 two handed weapon or 2 one handed weapons. 6 grenades of your choice. Imperial Guard and sisters of battle are the only allowed class's and the sisters of battle do not have their power armour. Join at your own descression its impossible for anyone to be better then another here. Weapons to pick from are as follows:
Las pistol: One handed weapon weaker firepower then a bolter but dosent jam and is more accurate. 1H weapon
Lasgun: A two handed rifle like the las pistol only is has greater range and faster firing rate. 2H weapon
Bolt Pistol: A powerful weapon but unlike the las pistol has limited amo and tends to Jam. 1H weapon
Bolter: Larger version of the bolt pistol, tends to jam but can be fired at a greater range and has a rapid fire option.
Close combat weapon: 1H weapon standard issue Sword, axe, or glaive.
Power weapon: although only weilded in one hand these are rare and cleave armor like nothing. 2H weapon
Grenade Launcher: A powerful weapon that dosent jam and has great range. With very little recoil and with options of fireing frag or krak grenades at their enemies these weapons proove their usefulness on the feild however have very limited amo based on how many grenades the weilder has. 2H weapon
flamer: standard issue flamethrower. 2H weapon.
Krak Grenades: Anti tank weapons but are very innefective against troops.
Frag grenades: Used no mainly for the purpose of killing their opponents but more to scatter then before desending into combat making a well defended position captured faster then a pizza vanish's in a weight gaining convention.
Demolishion charge: A limited timer lies on these things that only lasts for five seconds once activated and once tossed can eliminate powerful troops fast. ((Each DC takes up 2 grenade slots.))
Make your character quickly. There are no enhancments other then these weapons your joining as a normal soldier of the Imperium. You may take 1 training point in your Weapon Skill (Close quarters Skill) Balista Skill (Gun accuracy) Initiative (Your enemy arival responce time.) Or your attacks (Number of attacks you can make in close quarters.) The number one goal is to have fun you will have a cirtain amount of time to find the destress beacon and if you dont find it before the enemy does... Well lets just say you're pretty screwed.))
Ancient Terra has fallen to chaos. The great reef's of the cities that coated the world now lay in ruin and the Emporer himself lay slain. Warriors of the Imperium and chaos now lay scattered across the decimated world both struggling to find a form of com-link that could allow them to contact a nearby traitor or space marine fleet for help. The Imperium is in turmoil and has plunged into its darkest hour from the fall of Terra and the death of the emporer.
You wake up in a small camp of Imperial guard of the Cadian regiment only a hundred soldiers out of the millions that had once occupied the area were left. Mearly 4 Space marines could be counted amungst their numbers. The idea of other camps being around seems promising but without a radio or transmiter of any kind the officers have taken it to make the best of a situation that they were trained to assume the worst. You peer around and notice you are in the medical quarters with many other wounded soldiers. Your wounds dont seem that bad a pain in the head but that seems to be it. You can see laid down beside your bed all of the weapons you were equiped with when you lost consiousness.
