This thread has no topic. Thus, everything is fair game, and nothing is off-topic. Throw something out there, debate it, converse, muse randomly, and move on to the next topic. No rules. If something pops into your mind, write it down here. Just keep the conversation moving and keep the thread alive!
I'll get this thing started...
What do you guys think of the idea of a thread without a topic?

What do you guys think of the idea of a thread without a topic? It's about as exciting as a forum with barely any posters Edit: Oh yeah, I was supposed to start a topic, not that anyone might really comment on it, but here goes.......Do you believe in making New Year's resolutions?

No.
I might not be perfect, but I manage, so the need for change is minimal.
Also makes a lot more sense to start serious attempts at self-improvements in the spring when yucky weather isn't making you feel yucky.
Since we're talking about nothing in particular: was Seinfeild really a show about nothing?

I wouldn`t know, in my house we have two channels, both public service, both mostly boring...
Is Deux ex Machina really only a cheap way of ending stories, that don`t have a story or moral or anything..

No, it's just a way of ending things because the author was too lazy to think of an ending.
Is it too obvious that I want everyone to look at my new website if I tell them to go to the Advertising section and read my thread on it?

Nope... now Tattoo it on Kaber and take pictures of the tattoo and post them all over, then maybe it will be obvious... though I do agree that people should go to see it...

There's a lot of information on that page. How long did it take you do type all that up?

Why is it that whenever something goes wrong with the car or truck, it's always so $$$$$? Why can it never be something like, "Oh this wire came loose. We reconnected it - that will be $5 please."? Nope. My truck had the dreaded "Thunking" noise today and...$950+ later....

There's a lot of information on that page. How long did it take you do type all that up? I believe this is the third week that the site is online. We practiced for about 3-4 days, and then put it to the test, letting a few people look at a page or two. We got great responses, so just kept working at it on a daily basis. The final page (DnD) is now up, and we're just working on the subpages.
I was very surprised that I picked up on the HTML coding so quickly.....it's like writing in a foreign language, but I understand it.

To quote another topic: I have noticed with growing occurance, (and annoyance)that many poeple will just lurk on the board, watch to see if a certain person they are looking for comes on, then scats!!!! I have seen as many as 9 people at once just lurking, none others signed in. Its like thier afraid of signing in by themselves. As of this writting, 3 people jumped in and signed in....... some people.......

I already commented on Elros' lurkers topic on the thread itself. I don't like to repeat myself.

Neither do I, but it is in the interest of the thread, nay, the forum itself! What good is a neglected thread if it fortells the doom of a cool online forum? Keep it alive!

Found this on another site...
COWS Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington. And they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow.
CONSTITUTION They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.
TEN COMMANDMENTS The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse! You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile work environment!
