when i was in collage, i played a boardgame based off of the Aliens movie, the second one, the one with the marines. it was a small board, and the idea was that you started on one side with your group of marines, and needed to get as many as you could across to the other side. your Marines were armed with a variety of weapons: pistols, shotguns, heavy-machine guns, and flamethrowers.
your adversaries were of course the Aliens, which one person rolled some dice, and the Aliens were randomly placed every turn. very fun, quick game that was a lot harder than it looked. Pistols are no match for Aliens, and once the creatures got close to you, unless you were armed with a flamethrower, you were as good as dead anyway because of the splatter of Alien blood if you shot them.
i was wondering if anyone has ever played this game, or ever seen it. i've been frantically searching for it since i played it waaaay back in college, but no luck.

I have played this game. It was pretty neat, but kinda "cheap" at the same time. if they would have taken time to really get down and playtest and comeup with more material, I think it could even be a classic.
Unfortunatly, the GW Game SPACE HULK ends up blowing it away IMO. Space Hulk is just overall a better game. However, the Aliens License is just way cooler.
