In the morning of friday the 26th I was attacked by two gentelemen who decided it was their right to mug me.
The time was 1:35 am - and things stolen was my wallet and jacket, wallet is mostl what I'm wondering about help with or also mostly how to give some karmic payback. Wallet was a denim buttom fold wallet and desc of men in question was both native wearing hooded gym tops one black or dark coloured and one dark red. 5'9" medium muscle builder build and 6' about and large muslce builder build and style of fighting was double headlock and demand my wallet. I was requestd by Lewd Beholder to post my mornings experience.
Thanks - Quest 23

OHHH Quest I'm so sorry to hear about your morning difficulties. ((((((((((((((((((((((Quest))))))))))))))))))))))) As for karmic pay back, that will come to them in time without you having to lift a finger. Fortuanatly what comes around always tends to go around. Sooner or later your assailants will get theirs.

Thankfully you weren't hurt. A wallet can be replaced, an eye is forever.
Since this is in the discussion forum, let's open this up into a discussion about crime. Do you think crime in your country is on the rise? Is it a major issue? Should punishments be made any stronger than they already are? Perhaps a trip down the road of Sharia (Muslim Law) is the way to go. What do you think?

Or perhaps do like a town in Georgia where just about every one has a gun. If you know that every one has a firearm, how likely are you to attempt to mug some one or rob a store? Of course I am all for capital punnishment in certian casses, like Dalmer, Lecter, and Manson. They were either caught red handed(pun intended), or openly admitted to guilt and there crimes are verry sevier(sp).

Karma will eventually bite them in the perverbial glutious maximus.
But I do believe crime is on the rise. Some people are not just doing it for thrills anymore, but to survive. Take prostitution for example. I wonder how many women and men are involved in it for the sake of putting supper on the table for thier kids? If it came down to that for me, times were extremely hard to where I couldn't find any other work, then yes, I would prostitute myself to feed my children (if I had any). So for some, a way of life is crime, or begging.

I would say that prostitutes (especially the male ones, to perpetuate a stereotype) tend to be in it to fund drug addictions, not families, if they are in it unwillingly. While many prostitutes do have kids, the casu and affect are somewhat reversed with what you are thinking, if you catch my drift. In my area, luckily, crime does not seem to be a major problem. Someone was held up and gunpoint on campus the other day, and it made the papers even though noone was hurt. It did happen maybe 75 yards from my dorm room, which was a bit creepy

I'm finding that the crime rate in the city is getting worse in a way. Edmonton is like getting to be nasty.
Yes I'm thankful I got out of it okay. just kinda hate the fact that it was people so low on the intelligence chain that decide to mug people.
In the city where I am almost 2 out 5 people own a knife or have considered buying one.

It's interesting that you mention Edmonton. Almost every crime in Canada is on the decrease. The only increase in the past year or two has been car theft. Every violent crime is down across the country. Yet, there is still the perception that crime is getting worse. Why is that?

Possibly because the crimes that are being reported are more severe. in edmonth in the last two years we have had about 5 drive by shootings or gang related shootings. more joy riding for cars. and the asian gangs are more active in our city. for gang related fights but not for dealing.

I live in Ga. and just about everyone has a gun! It has done nothing to slow the crime rate. I wake up every morning to another murder on the news. It's horrible. Sorry to hear about your ordeal Quest. But hang on, because I believe that what goes around, comes around. He who likes to stick it to people will eventually get it in full payback. You just hang in there!
