Well, considering America has now officially become the most armed country on the planet, passing Yemen with more than nine firearms per ten people, I don't think gun ownership is the way to less crime. It obviously hasn't worked in the states.

Sorry to hear what happen to you. Just be glad that YOU were not hurt but........that those who did that awful and hateful crime are most likly going to jail some and then they will be eveyones meat if you get my point. LOL evilly!!! Yes there are too many guns and not enough swords, cross bow, maces, mauls, throwing hammers, and all that wounderful hand to hand weapons. I mean if you goingto use wepon that takes no more skill then pionting thats pretty sad. Were as a sword takes real skill to use effectivlly. So down with guns and that sort of stuff and more swordsand that sort. ;D ;D

Swords?! I prefer to use me as a weapon.
Having been in the military, I have had the oportunity to learn many ways to seariously inhibit a persons ability to function with one or two hits. believe it or not, that actualy scares me.

Ah, so you know hope to REALLY take out a sentery. bows towards you eyes staying fouced on you Nice meet a former miliatery man. And yes swords. If people really saw how gory and gross it is to kill with a sword. I think that would be enough. Exsample: I was about 17 and I lived on a farm, we raised hogs and cattle. Well, to make a long story short we had a very sick cow and we ( my dad) decided that it really needed to be put out of its misery. He was very bizzy that day and told me to do it and said that I had two chioces either ues the sledge hammer and brain it or go home and get the baster sword. ( My father never owned a gun but had a larger collection of swords and made use that each of his childen knew how to ues eveyone of them. There was no way I could get the force needed to ues the sledge hammer so I went home and got the short sword to do the job. There are some things that a person never forgets and that was something that Ican not forget. For that experence was horrid. I will never take ANY WEAPON and ues it on anything. Now that does not mean that I'm a push over, I'll fight to save my family or some one who on my list but, it will most likely be with my bamboo sword of the cast iron frying pan.

Now I would have used a sledge hammer, my step-grandfather had a hammer with a head 8" in diameter and 12" long with a handle 3' long. I can actually lift it and swing it. Of course I have to use both hand( where as gramps could hold a fence post with one hand and swing the hammer with the other).
