1. If you could have any car what would it be?
I always wanted a hybrid or electric car. Main thing, though, it HAS to have adjustable seat heights.
2. What is the farthest distance you have ever traveled from your home.
Florida, which is a little less than 1200 miles.
3. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
Umm... I really don't know. Jesus maybe? Just so I could hear the truth without the years of propaganda in between.
4. Who is your hero?
I don't really know this one either. I might have to be cute and corny and say my high school English teacher. She's the only teacher who ever challenged me in high school.
5. White socks, black socks, or no socks?
No socks in summer, black socks for work, white socks everyplace else.
6. Worse childhood memory?
Dunno if this counts as "childhood," but I think it would have to be the moment I realized I had forgotten to fill out the financial aid forms for all of my college applications and I thought I wouldn't be able to afford to go to school. That was one of those moments when you feel like you're standing on the edge of a cliff. The plan you had for your life is just gone. (It turned out okay, though.)
7. What you perceive as your greatest achievement?
This is a hard one. Probably getting my current job, though it's really not much to shout about.
8. What do people say about your personality that you disagree with?
Um, nothing that I've heard. Some people probably think I'm a snob, but that's just because I'm quiet and introverted.
9. If you could live any where in the world, where would it be?
I dunno. I haven't really traveled around enough to pick any place other than "here."
10. A million dollars tax free or 10 extra years added on to your life?
Depends. If it would be 10 extra
healthy years then I'd take the years. If it would be 10 years of what my grandmother is going through right now I'd take the money. I suppose if it meant 10 years without my loved ones then I'd take the money, too. I want quality life rather than quantity.
11. If you were stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean, which would you prefer to have: A magnifying glass or a transmitter with batteries that would last a week of continuous use and a range of a mile?
The transmitter seems more useful to me.
12. If you could create a miracle cure for a disease, what disease would you do it for?
AIDS. An entire continent is dying of it.
13. Favorite Smiley?
14. If you could change one moment in your life what would it be?
There are a couple moments in my life I might want to change, but in hindsight they all turned out to be for the best. I've always wondered if one moment during my freshman year could have changed my entire college career. It has to do with a day I was grumpy in the 9AM class and decided not to sit next to the boy I had been sitting next to (and flirting with in an introverted way) since the beginning of the year. I swear he never looked at me the same way since that day, but in hindsight I know he used to like me because he had a friend find out what I thought of him. Instead I went out with a guy who turned out to be extremely bad for me. But I'm very happy with the guy I have now and wouldn't want to risk this just to go back in time and see what that relationship may have been.
15. What world event had a major impact on your life? (aside from the 9/11 attacks, because I don’t know of anyone whose life wasn’t effected in someway by this)
The US government's cancellation of the Comanche helicopter project. It may not be a "world event," but it was on the national news and lost me my first real job.
16. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Invisibility.
17. If you could transform into one animal at will, what would it be?
Mmm, probably an owl.
18. What is your favorite meal?
What I just finished eating: pasta.
19. You are throwing a dinner party for 10 guests, who would you invite?
I have no idea. I'm not much of a party girl... even dinner parties. I'm a real introvert, and don't have enough good friends to fill 10 seats at my table.
20. What is it about the site that brings you back?
The games, though I've only had enough time lately to stay active in one of them.
