Ooh, I've only had a strawberry pie once (I had it over a friend's house and have no idea where he got it), but oooh it was sooo gooood! Although I have to say that classic apple is my favorite, especially warm apple crumb pie. Mmmm... *wanders to fridge and pulls out the leftover pie* Gah, you guys are making me hungry. Excuse me... *eats*

Really? Strawberry pie is actually really easy to make. At least the recipe I use is. A tad expensive right now since strawberries are INSANELY expensive, but not difficult at all. My all time fav is strawberry rhubarb pie.

NPR - National Public Radio
Masterpiece Theater - a pretentious tv program on public broadcasting.

Well, you know, we haven't had a good whack at the Americans here yet. Maybe it's time. Heh. We have people here from all over the world. What's the general opinion of America and Americans? For me, there is a significant difference between the two. Most Americans that I have met and worked with over the years have been the nicest of people. Professional and courteous, for the most part. America, the political entity, on the other hand, has become something of a bull in a china shop. And, has produced some of the greatest, most hypocritical rhetoric ever seen in the 20th and now 21st century.

*touches topic against better judgement IMHO, most people think that simply because the US is just under the limelight all the time. An example: in Iraq, we were criticized, among other things, because people thought we were motivated by oil interests. Maybe, maybe not, it's up for grabs. What wasn't yelled as often was the list of countries making the most money off Iraq in the pre-war situation. In order, France, Germany, Russia, China. Sound familiar? It's also the list of contries most opposed to war, in order of vocality. A lot of dirt comes up on teh US for the same reason that a lot comes up on Brittney Spears or Bill Clinton; people are just always watching, so they catch everything that goes wrong. They're just too busy watching us to see anyone else.
