Let’s see if you guys have truly can debate.
In a nutshell, Retired General Wesley Clarke went to testify against a certain genocidal monster Slobodan Milosevic at the international court in the Hague last week?
Is this a good thing or bad thing?
Here’s the scoop.
The U.S. has always had a contraversal standpoint on the setup of the International Court.
Heck, to the point that a Hague Invasion Clause has been added in the last few years.
I guess, my question is this.
Does having Clarke Testify against Milosovic good or bad for international affairs and/or the US as a whole.
BTW if anybody has any links to this, it would be most appreciated, they are a real @#$#@$ to find.

Well if Clark is Testifying as to Documented Intellegence that the US has regarding the war crime(s) Malosavic has committed then yes it is a good thing.
The US Goverments stance as to the International court isnt an issue here. He is being tried there no matter what the US thinks, so as a world power with pertinant, and accurate information we have an international duty to testify as to what we know.
Totally Justified.

This is pretty surprising considering Clarke is far more know for indicting the US for war crimes. Whether it be in Yugoslavia or now in Iraq, Clarke has been pushing for ICC charges to be brought against the US for years. There is even talk of his becoming Hussein's defense lawyer.

I been wondering is Hague the same as Haag?? Yes, I believe so. As for Mr. Clarke, if he has accounts to testify to the court then why shouldn't he be there? BTW, where are you getting this stuff about him bringing the US up on war crimes and being Husein's lawyer, Hussair? You have a link for that? If it's true he can kiss his presidential aspirations goodbye.

I'm not sure how reliable that source is...they are obviously a politically-motivated site and I don't see anywhere where they are citing their findings. Do you have any more reliable sources for this?

General Wesley Clark is in a position to very accuratley testify as to intellegence and also Milos-craps war crimes.
And Wesley Clark is beyond reproach. His integrity and honor are unquestionable. I had the pleasure to serve under him when he was a 2 star.
The man is tough on his Soldiers, however he is / was very fair. If Wesley Clark testifies to it. You can bet it is the truth and also well thought out before being done.
The man wont harm the USA's interests..... He is going to make an interesting President. That is of course if he is elected.
