"Finally!" Linus exulted silently. "Tight tight lipped git finally spills!" He remained calm on the exterior, raising his eyebrows slightly at the whole thing.
"Interesting... we get to pull Umbrella out of the crap hole." Linus muttered to himself.
"Sounds fun." Linus said flippantly shrugging his shoulders.
"And the company COULD be worse... she's stuck up that much is fairly obvious... but she is kinda cute." Linus thought to himself.
"Of course I'll listen to you Helen." Linus smirked rocking back on his chair slightly. "It's whether I'll take any notice is another matter."
"So then Trenty..." He started arrogantly. He had found his mission and now he just wanted to get out of here. "...lets discuss the finer points of this.. travel, details of what I'm taking from this thing I have to hack... and of course... payment ne?"
He leaned into the table again, looking calmly at both Helen and Mr Trent, wondering where the hell the waiters were... he was thirsty.

Linus smiled sardonically, most of what Trent told him was probably true. But he still wasn't buying all of it. "Sounds... Interesting. Bringing down Multinational Corporations eh? What could be more interesting." He said in a low voice, winking at Helen Thornton.
"One thing though Monsieur Trent... If you are having me hack into this computer... why do I need Lady Thorton with me? I am more than capable of hacking on my own."
"Come on Trent... what are you plotting...?" He thought to himself.

"Of course, my apologies." Linus said politely, mentally wishing the Umbrella gimp would get on it. "For Gods sake come on!" He mentally raged.

"Try to be polite and you get snapped at..." Linus thought ruefully, then grinned. "Hmm... well, if it annoys her... whats the point in stopping?"
"Apologies Lady Thornton... it's my upbringing I'm afraid." Linus said, trying to conceal his Midlands accent.
He gazed at Trent as did Helen, they both painfully obviously wanted to get out of here. "Great... I have to work with HER? Jeez, Trent have you got it in for me?" he thought bitterly, keeping his face calm and composed.

Linus eyebrows raised in curiousity at the woman also seated at the table.
"Pleasure to meet you..." Linus said, before he caught her glare of obvious unease at the tall hacker being there, "... the pleasure is obviously my own..." he frowned.
He addressed Trent again, "And who is Lady Thornton, what is this assignment that involves me having a partner?"
Linus didn't mean to be as abrupt as he probably was being, but this place, and Trent blank features, were making him nervous.

Linus thanked the waiter with a nod of his head, but his mind ticked over about something. His final guest? Had Mr.Trent been busy this morning?
Linus nodded to Mr.Trent and complied with his request.
"Thank you." He said calmly, slipping off his leather trencher and placing it over the shoulders of the fine chair.
"Nice place." Linus commented looking around casually, his eyes busy looking for anything out of place, spotting nothing and not wanting to arouse suspicion from Trent, he looked back at the Infamous Umbrella Operative.
"Well Mr Trent..." Linus started, eager to get this over with. "...what is all of this about?"

Linus smiled thinly at the waiter, who had an obvious look of displeasure on his face at the sight of the Hacker. Linus wasn't surprised, it was a rather well to do resturant and Linus was here in a pair of baggy jeans, a plain black t-shirt and a long leather jacket. This was how he normally dressed, and what p!ssed him off the most was the look was becoming cliched by little wannabe kids.
"Sir is here to see a Mr.Trent." Linus said curtly, and leaned closer to the waiter. "And Sir would also appreciate it if you were not looking at Sir like he was some sh!t covered tramp off the street." The Hacker gave the man a pointed look and waited for him to lead him to Mr Trent's table.

BEEEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEP!
Linus groaned as the shrill alarm cut through the still morning air. He turned over and hit out blindly at the snooze button as he pulled himself toegther, glancing at the clock.
10.33am. Later than he normally awoke but no matter. The events of yesterday replayed in his mind. Again. They had been doing all night - he'd had extremely vivid dreams, of this Mr.Trent, these Virii - T and G - and these... creatures. He didn't know what the hell they were, but they scared the crap out of him.
Linus pondered the dreams as he jotted them down in a notebook by his bed. Linus was deeply interested in dreams, he believed many were prophetic. The ones he had of late though - with these creatures and such - he hoped WEREN'T as prophetic.
Linus rose, turning off his alarm as it again began to scream shrilly at him, telling him to wake his lazy ass up - and proceded to ready himself for his meeting with Mr Trent.
Around 11.50 - after double and triple checking he had got everything, he set out, his bag across his broad shoulders and sped along the roads towards the restaurant - The Polygon.
He arrived there about 20 minutes later, and subsequently 20 minutes early. Securing his motorbike, he checked around, to make sure he hadn't been followed, before entering and looking around for some kind of waiter or something.

Linus shook his head and closed the internet connection - in complience with the message. It was true... he probably was drawing attention to himself.
He reconnected his Internet again, his IP address changing (Bless rotating IP's) as he sat down, contemplating the strange message.
He knew where the Polygon was, it was only about 15 minutes away from him - well... fifteen minutes the way he drive anyways. He grinned to himself bitterly. So... he would finally meet this Mr Trent. He has some answers to give. The hacker thought angrily.
"You'll be taking a trip to America." he mused aloud. "Well... who's to argue with a free holiday. But what the hell was the deal with an 'accomplice'?"
Linus continued to mutter to himself as he packed away he laptop, a change of clothes and other bits and pieces in a overnight bag. He was pretty sure he'd be staying longer than one night, but if he was only allowed one bag... He hadn't got much options open to him.
This whole thing stank of crap. Stale crap. Stale crap that had being lying in the sun for 3 weeks. But hell... what else was he going to do? He had always taken oppurtunities when they had arisen for him. And this was one freak ass oppurtunity.
He spent the rest of the evening winding down, take a look into various people's computers, mostly AOL users who didn't understand the need for firewalls. He didn't do anything, apart from leave a couple of notes that said "Phyrehawk was here." 'Phyrehawk' being his online screen name. Though he couldn;t remember where he had got it from - he had had it for years.
He waited up for a bit, to see if anything else would happen, on the news , or otherwise.
((Regina, if nothing else happens, you could skip to morning - Linus is done for the night.))

Linus stared at the documents, the pixelled words on his slick LCD flatscreen monitor, completely dumbstruck.
"What... the... f***...?!" He exclaimed when his voice had refound him, not mincing his words at all.
He re-read the file again, and again and again - his hands flying to the keyboard, bringing up a search window on one of the other monitors, and ran a search for various keywords from the file: T-Virus, G-Virus, Spencer Mansion, Tyrants as well as Umbrella Trent and Dr. Isabelle Meyer.
"This is screwed up..." Linus said aloud. "Lex what the hell have you got yourself into?"

Linus sighed and stretched his legs. The IP returned itself to 127.0.0.1, which was the IP for returning to your own host.
He could do nothing but wait... but he knew that probably wouldn't be a brilliant idea. Plus...his curiousity was peaked. He wanted to know what the hell this was about.

"What the fu..." Linus exclaimed at the pop up that displayed itself across his screen.
He opened his firewall quickly and looked for any unusual IP addresses that may have come from the Umbrella Corp.
Thoughs ticked over quickly in his mind. How did they know his name? What the hell was "project Code: Beta 10"? Who was this "Trent"?
He started a trace on Umbrella's IP address, while going to find this file. It lay meekly in a folder of its own and Linus eyed it warily. What the hell was going on? "you have been selected for our operation" What the hell was that supposed to mean?!
He scanned the file, with a trojan scanner, a spyware detecter and a virus checker. This file was dodgey as sin and he was taking no chances.

Linus watched the password box display password after password, none of them appearing to work. He yawned longly and rubbed his eyes, softly mouthing the words to the current song that was playing. Hoobastank - The Reason... For some reason that song always depressed him... past memories were a biatch sometimes. But sometimes he tormented himself with this song. " I've found a reason for me..." he sang, ...to change who I used to be, a reason to start over new, and the reason is you... and the reason is you... and the reason... is you." The song ended, as works of its kind seem to do, leaving Linus staring blankly at the screen, watching the useless passwords stored in his brute-forcers database. He sighed, fragile crystal saphires around his deep azure eyes. This was a side of him he never let anyone see - a side he couldn't let anyone see. He stood and walked to the bathroom to wash his face again, leaving the computer to do its thing. ((OOC... Linus got sad Weird thing is... that song can have that effect.. its a beautiful song but... The list was fine, probably the sorts of things the brute-forcers database would contain.))

Linus clicked the Isabelle Meyer link without hesitation.
Checking on the screen he shrugged at the password screen and flipped back to the screen with the failed search. He opened a program that would mask his computers activities, diverting the connection through several major corperations first (who would have no idea what was going on) and then opened a brute-forcer. He opened the page that needed a password on the Umbrella site on this screen and targeted the password box on there.1
He stood to get some biscuits from his kitchen and then returned to see how his computer was handling this, glancing at the TV idly.
1 Regina a note on this "brute forcer" if you don't know what one is: Its like a password cracker that first attempts to find the right username to enter by looking in the database of names (which is likely to be encrypted) it then tries hundreds of thousands of passwords that it has in its own database - which are all really common passwords - with the variations such as adding numbers etc. If anyone is monitoring the site this would be picked up fairly quickly and they would start tracing the connection, which Linus has made harder by conecting to the Umbrella site through other sites and servers who would have no idea about it... if that makes sence?

"Damn... are these people idiots? Keeping all this on a webserver?" He laughed spitefully to himself. He checked the notes he had made and came up with the name " Dr Isabelle Meyer" as the author of the document he had tried to download. He ctrl+clicked the 'Personnel' link to open up what he assumed would be the Personnel list of the company, maybe he could find out something about this 'Trent.' In the first window he opened the 'Experiments' the experiments link out of pure curiosity. He slid back to the screen of the search he had performed about Umbrella and Trent to see if it had come up with anything.
