Hate to say it... Spark exclaims as he chucks a dagger between one snake's eyes But the next room is probably better than this one. He uses his staff as a golf club to launch another snake back at the mural, then pulls out some bat guano and sulfer, hoping to clear the way to the next room with a nicely placed fireball. This better work...

*Son of a ...* Jerks. Spark mutters towards the talking animals as he forgets about the mace and begins to limp towards the back of the group, keeping his legs prepaired to arc him over the group at the slightest hint of danger. So much for collecting treasure. He pulls a chip of mica from off his necklace. *Ok, hopefully shatter will harm them... or at least blind them.* He then lets the spell fly at the group advancing on Geoff.

You may be right, but I wanted to err on the side of safety. Moving along... Spark walks towards his chucked mace... beginning to limp about a quarter of the way there, uses his staff to poke and prod the areas in front of him, hoping to set off any traps there may be in front of him with the staff, instead of his feet. We may still need this. After retreaving the mace and hooking in onto his belt, he begins to help in searching the room.

Hey, can you blame me? I thought that these auras might be movement activated, and since I'm not sure that these animals are even corpreal I decided to make something no one cares about set off anything that might occure. You might want to set these things off yourself, but I rather have an inanimate object do the job. Spark retorts back to Telly. I'm only concerned about our *or rather my* safety... so don't you be getting grumpy with me. I'm only trying to help us out, OK? Now, these Auras must do something, if not destroy whatever touches the murals then what... any ideas Miss Scout?

*Ugh, I really don't want to have to dispell this place... I know!* You know what? I'm getting kind of impatient about this room. I'm giving everyone 'till the count of "10" to get out of here, before I chuck this here mace at a that mural... He says while pointing halfway across the room. 1!... 2!... He starts moving towards the door.

Here you are, Jarvin. Spark smiles to Jarvin, as he hands over the dagger. *Bags, I was hoping to stay clear of traps, not to go off finding them!* Turning back to the group, he calmly says, Alright, I can find the magical traps... I take it you guys will go for the mundane ones? Good. He then flourishes his hands and incants the words to allow him sight of magical auras (detect magic) and begins to scan the room, noting the floor, walls, murals (especially the murals), the ceiling, and the cat... focusing on the gems for auras if any are present in that area.

Spark, chuckling at Telly telling Waldo off, holds out the weapons. Well, there's a silver dagger and a mace. Then there's the gemmed short sword. (I thought it may have something to do with the gems on the walls, and if a lifelike painting were to attack whoever has the sword, I rather not be in possesion of it.) I have some vials, two cures, an invisibility, a miniturize, and a poison... unfortunately, we don't know which is which. Something I really think we should figure out.

Didn't anyone grab that gemmed short sword back there? Geez. Spark limps back to the shelf to retreave the rest of the treasure. When he returns, he slides the sword across the ground to Waldo. Here, I'm guessing we'll need this. Doesn't anyone else want a free souvaneer? He says while offering the weapons to the group... Or do I get to keep them?

Yeah, how smart can talking wolves and tigers be? Spark retorts sarcastically. Hey, um... Telly? Jarvin? I suggest that we stay back here while our human trap-detector does his thang. He quietly suggests to the two.

Hmmm, I'm not liking this at all... if there's anything I've learned so far from this place, it's "don't touch anything or you get your head chopped off. I suggest that if...if we try to take any of this, we do it on the way out... when we're most likely running anyway. Spark begins messing around with his spell components again, trying to psych himself up for whatever may be trying to kill him next. Say, maybe later we can swap some spells, Telly. I assume you're a mage, from the lack of armor. I have a feeling we may both need as many spells as possible in here. *heh, talk about 'water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink. This is a metaphorical goldmine... but I prefer my innards...well, in-ards.*

Chill, man. Here, cool yourself down. With a smirk, Spark tosses the man a waterskin. So, what brings you two here? He then limps over to the gold to collect his share.

I already told you, it's pie! Y'know, the number? Bakers measuring? You can't eat it? It's pi. Three-point-one-four-one-five-nine... I could go on, but we seem to have company. Spark then limps to a more suitable position in front of the newcoming elf.
Well, 'ello there... I'm Spark, this is Dantri, Geoff, and Waldo... He says with a low bow, using his staff for support...Who might you be? And who is your noisy companion back there?

*All right, this wolf thing could get annoying... but on the plus side, I'm getting some info.*
2 cure, 1 smallize, 1 invis. and 1 poison, eh? Well, I could attempt to Identify them, but that would take about 16 hours to prepare, identify, and restore me back to full health. There's always the possibility of just drinking one when we need something... but I don't like the idea of suddenly turning invisible when I'm bleeding to death... or poisoning myself when I need to fit in a 2-foot corridor. Any other ideas guys? 'Cus that's the only thing I can think of. Spark limps over to the weapons.
If we do rest here, we at least have a locked door in front of us, and a portcullis behind us. I believe I have a pearl on me somewhere, and I know I have my feathers. Unfortunately, I can only ID five items per go, and if these are magical also... then we'll have 3 things that we're clueless about. If these are magical, then in order to get a general idea of what they do, we'll need 32 hours, not including sleep, for me to "do my thang". *Too bad we only have me casting spells, otherwise this would take half as long.*
Could someone go over by the portcullis to stand watch while I get ready? ...Unless you guys have a better idea. Spark then begins shuffling through his cloak, looking for spell components.

*Oh, not only does the wolf talk, it disappears! That's it! Next time I need money, I'm making a magic routine.* After replacing the dung, Spark walks over to the Vials.
I'll be taking these... He then retrieves his staff and, carefully, melts the goo off of it without burning the staff itself.
You all right now, Waldo? I suggest after getting your "toys" we divide up the gold. I'm going to go over these vials... try 'n' figure out what's what. Oh, and about the riddle... I think it's pie. Yup, good ole' three-point-one-four-one-five-nine-two-six-five-three-five-eight-nine-seven-nine-three-two-eight-four-six-two-six-four-three-three-eight-three-two-seven-nine-five... He continues rambling off numbers while studying the vials in color, smell, consistency... nearly anything safe; trying to think of anything that these may be.

Aahh! Spark dives out of the way of the Molotov Cocktail as best he can.
