Are any of us not crazy?
I think the human race is not doomed to be hate-filled and quarrelsome but can be loving and cooperatve.
You seem to think that politicians will have consistent positions and says smart things.
And Kerry has his problems too.

Umm, that would be THE COMMUNISTS, not the socialists, and the Nazi's. But anyway.
I'm with Challenger on this one. Just because you did the right thing by removing Hussein, it doesn't excuse lying to your own people to get it done. And then castigating the rest of the world when we don't fall into line and swallow your lies.

I think it was more a sort of mutual understanding, we dont Hitler, you dont like Hitler, that way round. I guess you could call that allies, but really more like pseudo-allies.

Am I the only one that sees the veiled threat in that statement?

Well I see how it could be viewed as a threat. However it is my opinion that Galadon didn't mean the USA should launch their own terror campaign to convince other countries to join them.
Wouldn't work anyway.
USA hits China. China nukes the USA for example.

The US acts as if it should be hailed as a saviour, but if anything, they should be crucified. A war ceases to become justified as soon as "collateral damage" happens, as soon as a single innocent is killed.

Sorry Cha, but I can't agree with that. It is impossible for a war to be fought without civilians being killed. It's a terrible truth, but still true nonetheless. How many civilians were killed in WWII by the allies? Lots. Was the war justified? Certainly. It would be nice if wars were fought entirely between armies, but, it's a dream. Not going to happen.
However, Iraq ceased to be justifiable as soon as it came out how incredibly lame the "proof" was that started the war in the first place. Using the moral justification after the fact is, well, immoral.

hmmmm how interesting, Kerry's band of brothers doesn't seem to agree with him. In fact they claim Kerry either lied or made up things about his time in Viet Nam. Oh he did get wounded: One from a thorn, Two from a chunk of shapnel the size of a kernel of rice in his arm. Both self inflected. Why talk about this, Kerry made a big deal how he was such a war hero. Turns out the men who was there with him have a different view on the subject.

Didn't he admit to being a war criminal or something?
And Bush deserted IIRC
I can't see why either man wants their militery records brough to light.

Bush served in the National Guard, he didn't desert. They claim he didn't show up for some duties. What they don't tell you is every time some goes to the national guard weekend duties there is alway two or three people missing.
But the main point is Bush is not running around claiming to be a big time war hero, Kerry is. Why would Kerry have to bring up something from 30 years ago,,,,,,,,, could it be he has nothing to go on from his 19 years in congress.

Umm, Gal, if the wounds were self inflicted then Kerry would be in jail.
It's a little more than just not showing up for a weekend or two. There's no record of Bush EVER showing up. That's a little different, particularly during war time.
Of course, son's of rich people don't go to wars and get to stay home nice and safe, so that's all good anyway. I love how the Republicans are going after the Dems for being wealthy. LOL. Hmm, considering the Bush family is one of the wealthiest in America, especially after it made all that money from Nazi Germany. Pot call the kettle black much?

The funny thing, the TRULY amusing thing for me, is the fact that Bush supporters can only support Bush by saying bad things about Kerry. Not once, not one single time, have I seen anyone actually support Bush, just attack Kerry. Kerry can't do this... Kerry waffles... Kerry is pro big money...
I've heard what Kerry can't do, but I've never heard anything about what Bush can do.

Well unfortunatly its a similar situation in Britain.
I'd love to see Blair out of power. However I realy don't see anyone taking his place. There are simply no faces in the other parties.
