This was a while back, but I heard this story on Fox news. This isn't a literal transcript, just what stuck in my memory over the course of a few months:
A brutal murderer has filed a lawsuit claiming that death by lethal injection is a form of cruel and unusual punishment.
So tell me, does that sound fair and balanced to you? First the man is characterized not just as a man on death row or as a man convicted of murder, but as a murderer (I think the press should allow itself wiggle room by refferring to people convicted of crimes as being convicted of a crime rather than as guilty of a crime). Second he isn't simply a murderer, he's a brutal murderer. Find me a murder that isn't brutal. Third, the crime he's been convicted of is irrelevant to the issue of whether death by lethal injection is cruel and unusual or not.
So yes, Fox news is fair and balanced and I'm the king of monkeyland.

Sounds like a fairly typical headline to me.

Well, let's face it. Fox news is pretty much a joke. It's the American version of Al Jezeera. Extreme and very biased.
