I was just wondering what people here think of anime becoming video games and how it is represented in game media form? Also i was wondering what your guys opinons of some good/bad anime games are?

it all depends. Vampire hunter d was a decent game, but it was a novel before a anime. the techi muyo snes game is excelent, as is the magic knight rayearth. Gohs in the shell stunk crappy butt for psx. So i guess it all depends on how much the manga/anime artist wants to get things done right or are just moneyhungary pigs. DBZ legends...best game i ever played for a fighter. DBZ fan at one tiime, despise it now. DBZ ultimate battle 27, i played it when i played legends and Final Boute. it stinks now, was awsome as an import. i can actually put in the imported copy and perform moves that the translated copy won't. it doesn't have more moves, just better respoce time. Things get messed up in the translations too. That copy i own of UB27, owned it, FB, and legends for the past 8+ years. so...it all depends on different factors. I would like to see a well done El Hazard or Getbackers VG though. Although Getbackers is very closely like Battle Hunter for psx anyway.

I have to agree with you there about the Dragonball games for psx after month's of searching they seemed kind of iffy. I owuld like to see a nicely done anime based rpg for psx instead of all this pointless fighting game nonsense. It seems that anime games 90% of the time end up getting turned into fudged up fighting games. I have heard mixed things about dragonball budokai or w/e. Anyone have any opinons worth buying? also anyone else have some games to discuss whether it be gameplay/graphics.etc? As for El Hazzard i would kill to see a nicely done rpg or fighting game that would rule considering that it is such a great series.

Look on Dreamcast and you shall find that what you seek. They made a El Hazard game for DC. Enjoy!!!
