Well it is really only a matter of opinion... Anyway, I'm here to talk about Calvin and Hobbes. It's been so long since they're been in print...and I do miss them horribly. The comic was funny, yet made you think. So...just talk about why you loved the comic, post your favorite comic strip of them, whatever talk about how it sucks that Bill left to go be by himself (although reading that stuff from the 10th anniversy book dealing with the syndicate, I can sympathise) a personal fav of mine

yes, i agree. Bill Waterson is a GENIOUS. My personal favorite is the one with the table and nails. "what is this a trick question or something." That skit.

I loved Calvin & Hobbes too.
My favorites are the ones where he tries to call the reference librarian for information he shouldn't have.

It's too bad that guys like Bill Watterson and Berke Breathed go into retirement, but Jim Davis refuses to go away.

I agree that Watterson is one of the greats. The comic newspaper medium suffered a great loss when he quit. I believe one of my favorites is when he prays for "The strength to change what I can, the inability to accept what I can't, and the incapacity to tell the difference." An interesting life to lead indeed

Really, it's all gold. My favorite was when they stole Rossalyn's homework and threatened to flush it down the toilet.
And Stupendous Man... gotta love it.
