Being that I'm a nice guy I help this guy take out some garbage. So we got some shovels, picks and tools of destruction and load a 1/2 ton of garbage on a red VW micro bus.

/ooc quick note BRO his fireballs should have a range of 600ft if his mages are 5th level more if there higher Challenger Sorry, my mistake here. I thought, that Fireball spell has a medium range, but I have just consulted with my Player's Handbook (3.0 edition) and confirmed, that Fireball spell has a long range range.

I'll consider this to give your mages benefit as if from Enlarge Spell feat, i.e. this effect will double the range of your mages' spells. In case with you mages' fireballs, their range will become 1200 feet.

The problem with shooting at the great range is accuracy, not weapons' maximum range. Sorry, that PM was written in a rushed state. What I meant to add was that my musketeers train specifically to fight in such unusual conditions (in no gravity, in increased gravity, firing down at something, arc motion, firing at a target based only on hearing, etc). They're only average musketeers in a stand up fight, but spend many years so that Spectrum's signature tactics can be as devastating as possible.
