It seems my favorite system Deadlands is dead...no new publishing around these parts....so sad Here is some of the many things I've done to keep a rather smart party happy. Ignore the spelling mistakes...sorry I can't continue it, seems I no longer have an account on tripod, but the site still there. quazalpene.tripod.com/deadsite/quazalframe.htm

just thought id chime in, Deadlands d20 ISNT dead, but what they have done is combined the d20 stuff with the original system. i.e. they publish their books with both systems which completely rocks. this way you can expose people who ONLY play d20 to the greatness that is the original Deadlands system (noooo, im not a fan), and show some rather hardened anti-d20 types that the d20 system isnt all that horrible. to be honest though, im glad they do it this way now, as it is a lot less of a strain on the wallet. ooo, btw, for deadlands fans, pinnacle (check www.peginc.com for better details) is releasing a it's Deadlands Reloaded hardcover, smooshing all the really cool stuff of the last few years into one hardcover book and revealing the last of the secrets theyve been hinting at over the past couple years. theyre doing the same with Hell on Earth and Lost Colony (i think)

Reloaded release...pretty cool...perhaps a buy..but everything in one book? either it'll weigh 70 lbs, or have lots edited out...I have some doubts, but still look forward to it. I would not mind trying to run deadlands in an alternate future setting (not hell on earth) based on the heroic (or horrific for this marshal) actions of my party through the Heart of Darkness Trilogy

I checked the rpg forums and it looks like their discontinuing the d20 line of deadlands (and the original system) for their savage world system.

according to Shane, yeah thats exactly what theyre doing as while people are still interested in picking up Deadlands material, theyre just not as interested in the classic or the d20 system as he hoped theyd be. The Savage Worlds system is supposed to be a fatser ruleslite version of the system.
BAH! 'sall i gotta say about it.
but, IIRC he said there will be conversion notes and stuff either in the Reloaded books or in pdf format... he's cool like that.. (bloody lazy slacker)
