Once, long ago, there was a castle high in the mountains.

So he sent for the local witch and asked her to seek answers within her crystal ball.

Chanting and murmuring as she rubbed her hands over the crystal, she gasped in horror at what she saw, and collapsed in a heap.

He sent for the local healer to wake the witch, and while he waited, he wondered what dreaded news the witch would have to tell him.

The healer tried her best, but was still unable to awaken the witch, and wondered to herself, what type of dark magic had to power to render such a powerful being useless.

The King then sent for his ten bravest knights, to do battle with whatever it was that the witch had seen, should it attack the castle.

Looking off into the distance, they saw dark, thunderous clouds forming in the sky.

From the center of the dark thunderous clouds, lightning bolts shot across the sky, and the wind began to pick up, and lash out at the trees and shrubs along the mountains with a fierce roar.

The sun slowly set across the mountaintops, eerily illuminating the storm and causing long shadows to stretch the the knights' armored feet.

The shadows started to change shape, twisting into horrible figures which crept up the legs of the knights.

Not realizing the shadows were creeping up their legs, the Knights continued to search for the danger they could sense off in the distance.
