Is the other person in the room?
Has the room been entered or tampered with since the man's death?

Was it a suicide that was supposed to look like an accident?
Was the other peron in the room before he commited suicide?
Did the other person sell him something?
Was the wood/sawdust something that was important to him that was destroyed?
Did the other person destroy what the wood/sawdust was?
Did he want to commit suicide because of what happened to the wood/sawdust?
Was the sawdust caused by the wood?
Was the room a bedroom?
Was the room a workshop?
Was the man young?
Was the other person a relative?
(sorry for so many questions, but I'm really trying to figure this thing out)

Whoa! Plenty of questions! Don't apologize, it's a good thing. Note I answer both EK and RMW's questions here. Is the other person in the room? No.Has the room been entered or tampered with since the man's death? No.Was it a suicide that was supposed to look like an accident? No.Was the other peron in the room before he commited suicide? Yes.Did the other person sell him something? No.Was the wood/sawdust something that was important to him that was destroyed? No...Did the other person destroy what the wood/sawdust was? No...Did he want to commit suicide because of what happened to the wood/sawdust? Yes..Was the sawdust caused by the wood? Yes.Was the room a bedroom? Yes.Was the room a workshop? No.Was the man young? No.Was the other person a relative? No.(One of the drawbacks of doing this in text rather than in speech is you don't see the immediate reactions of the person answering or hear the tone of voice in the answer. This way might be more "fair", but it seems unfair to me to not give you folks the same advantages I had while doing this. If you'll notice sometimes when I answer I'll put dots after it ("No..." ). This means either I had to think very hard about the answer or I would have said it in an uncertain voice. It's up to you to decide how to interpret them.)

Okay, just to recap so far......... The man knew the other person and he was not a friend or relative. The man shot himself in the head because of what happened to the wood/sawdust, which was caused by the other person. The room was a bedroom, but the wood/sawdust was not a statue or piece of furniture. The other person was in the room before he commited suicide, but not during or after.............. Did the man see the other person in the bedroom? Did they have an argument? Did the wood/sawdust mean something to the other person? Was the wood/sawdust something of value? grrrrr.......the answer is probably right in front of my face and I still can't see it..............
