"I hope, you wouldn't mind the delay, Archmage Turanis" said Jabar, turning to Turanis once again "But this is the last oasis between us and His Magnificence's tower, and we need to replenish our supplies of water. And besides, we better to wait through heat in here, the trees will give us at least a little protection against heat."

Turanis noded his head and began walking into the shade, "If you need something just ask, my friend." Turanis sat down and sighed as he pulled out a Tome of his that was black and covered with silver runes, the Tome of the Darkness Flame to be precise. He reads the book with a look of intense concentration, only glancing up every few minutes to make sure all was well.

Meanwhile, Ramishi stood before the lake, and began to speak on some kind of language, unknown to Turanis. Even thought Turanis cannot understand even a single word, Ramishi's speech sounds very much like a prayer of some kind to him.

Only after Ramishi finished her paryer-like speech, Jabar's men leaded now unseddled and unloaded camels to the lake, letting the animals drink and drinking themselves. After the drinking, Jabar's men took waterskins out of their saddlebags and began to fill them.

Turanis watches the prayer with gleaming blue eyes, ~may Tsunami grant them their wish...~ putting away the book he slowly stands up and walks to the water's edge. He looked at the water as his eyes swam in memories, he smiled grimly and pulled out long peices of cloth. He watched the horizon as he wrapped his forearms and lower legs. He stands erect and stares at the tower like object in the distance, he looked sideways at Ramishi and noded. "Mission... accepted."

Ramishi, who didn't drink yet, turned to Turnais, meeting his eyes.
"Mission accepted?" she asked, with surprise celarly visible in her hazel eyes "What does it mean, Archmage Turanis?"

Turanis turned to face her and almost smiled, "It means that I am ready now to do what I must to complete the task that brought me here... even at the cost of my own life." He looked at the water for a long moment, ~Yes... no matter what.~

Jabar, who had just finished drinking, looked at Turanis suspiciously. Apparently, Jabar didn't liked what Turanis has just said about task and death. However, Jabar prefered to remain silent, for now at least.

Ramishi too seemed to be disturbed by Turanis's answer.
"Would you forgive my curiosity" says Ramishi "If I would ask you what kind of mission brought you into the Bright Desert, and how is it related with His Precipient Magnificence?"

Turanis stared at her for a long moment and sighed, "My kinsmen's lands are being threatened by a dark power and I must ask his Arcane Majesty if I may use a portal he is said to possess. What awaits me within the portal... I know not." He almost smiled as he looked away from her and into the distance.

Ramishi looked at Turanis for a long minute, then noded, saying nothing.

They have stayed in the oasis for about for hours, waiting for the hottest part of the day to pass by...

"I believe, that it is a good time for us to continue our journey." says Jabar then"Men, we are heading towards His Magnificence's tower! Archmage Turanis, please, take one of our camels, it will be faster and more comfortable for you to travel this way."

Turanis noded and walked up to a camel that seemed to like him. He petted it's head as he adjusted it's tack and slid onto it's back. He allowed himself a small smile as he guided it towards Jabar, "I am ready when you are."
