Turanis taveled with Jabar, Ramishi and the rest of nomads for a full six days. They indeed headed toward the tower-like object, which Turanis spotted in the hills at the distance. When they get closer, Turanis saw that it was indeed a large stone tower. There was nothing fancy about it, just solid granite bricks with some narrow windows.
However, as they stopped at tower's gates, Turanis realized, that lack of ornamint upon the tower wasn't result of povetry. For tower's massive double gates were made of bluish-black metal, which Turanis recognized as Adamantite.

At either side of the doors stood a powerfully built human - the man and the woman. Either of them was over six feet tall, and was both strong and beautiful to behold. The man wore only a lionskin lincloth, and the woman wore lincloth and bra made of leopard skin. Both of them had jet-black hair, sea-green eyes and tanned complexion.

"Lord Turanis Altaine" said the woman "His Precipient Magnificence is aware of your arival and waiting for in the throne room."
"Jabar of Bright Desert" said the man "You and your men are to wait outside."

Man and woman opened adamante doors before Turanis.
"Follow me, Lord Turanis Altaine" said the woman, walking inside.

Turanis noded and dismounted the camel, ~Giants of the Jungle? Rary has a fine taste for guards...~ He saluted Jabar and bowed low to Ramishi, giving them his silent thanks. He turned about and went inside as the Giantess had directed.

As soon as Turanis stepped into Rary’s tower after Giantess (as Turanis mentally called his guide), he felt sudden coolness, which at first seemed to be a great relief to Turanis, especially comparing to the hot air of the Bright Desert. However, as Turanis followed Giantess through the empty corridors and spiral staircases of Rary’s tower, they seemed to be even more hostile then the wastelands of the Bright Desert. The only sources of light in Rary’s tower were far-between torches, which were burning with pale ghostly light, casting the corridors into the deep shadows. Somehow Turanis wasn’t really surprised by the fact, that they didn’t encounter anybody within Rary’s tower gloomy halls. Indeed, who would agree to live in such a place? Somebody like Giantess? Speaking of her, Giantess, walked before Turanis. Her movements were graceful and fluid, yet Turanis realized, that he hadn’t seen even a hint of emotion about Giantess since he first met her.

Eventually, Turanis and Giantess reached the large hall at the one of the upper floors of Rary’s tower. The hall was better lighten the others parts of Rary’s tower, yet it made it look no less gloomy and hostile. In the end of the hall, stood a throne made solidly of rare red gold.

Upon the throne, sat an elderly man. Somehow, he didn’t looked like a terrible evil archmage, against whom Ariel warned Turanis. The elderly man was dressed in rather simple dark blue robe. He didn’t wore a crown, yet there were a several rings upon his fingers. The elderly man had white hair, dull blue eyes and parchment-yellow skin.

A few steps forward and to the right from the throne, stood another man; this one was much younger then the man upon the throne. His hair is pale gray in color, while his short beard and moustaches are jet-black; this gives an idea, that either his hair or his short beard and moustaches are dued, eityher normally or through magical means. The younger man has clear blue eyes and tanned complexion. The younger man wears jet-black robe.

”Be honored, Lord-Archmage Turanis Altaine!” said the younger man ”For His Percipient Magnificence, Rary the Archmage, Monarch of the Bright Lands, is generous enough to grant you an audience immediately upon you arrival! Speak up your reasons to disturb His Percipient Magnificence!”

Giantess bows lowly and moves backward, standing now a few steps behind Turanis.

Turanis bowed low and crossed his amrs palm inward in an old Netherese sign of respect, "Arcane Majesty, I have journeyed far to come before you in respect and friendship. To be more direct, I have come to use a portal that is said to be in your possession. The Portal to Sclyther's dark Pyramid, if it is not to much to ask I would like to make use of it."
~Rary has designed many powerful spells, some of which i know and use... he is a true Archmage, unlike me. The spells of my creation are nowhere near his caliber, but perhaps he will do this in return for a later favor... or in respect for another Brother Arcane.~ Turanis thought to himself.

"If you sources of information claim, that the Portal to Sclyther's Dark Pyramid is within my possession, I believe, they are slightly mistaken." says the figure on the throne - Rary "If you wish my assistance, or at least my permission to access the Portal to Sclyther's Dark Pyramid, I expect you to be completely open and truthful to me - tell me what are your reasons to seek the Portal to Sclyther's Dark Pyramid, and what do you hope to find beyond the Portal to Sclyther's Dark Pyramid? I am sure, you are wise enough not to lie to me, for I am sure, that you understand, that my magic is powerful enough to discern any lie or half-truth spoken within my presence."

"No your Majesty, I would not lie to you even if I could get away with it. I came to this world from Abeir-Toril to save the kingdom of Elves to the north, Celene is it's name. There is a Mage of dark and terrible power threatening that land and if he succeeds he will come to threaten all of Oerth in time. Sclyther is the only one whom i know can help, either by giving me greater spell power or gifting me with one of the mighty artifacts in his possession." he said, keeping his tone reverent.

"I see." said Rary "Yet what I cannot understand, is why do you bother to help the arrogant elves of Celene? Have you seen any of the others nations trying to help them?"
