wewt! My stones! n.n ANd I'd be MORE than honored to be your apprentice. In all seriousness. I have a STRONG affiliation to the storms (for a reason, but I'm not going to say) along with wind and water. I've been looking so much for some kind of... 'religious practice'? that I could put some faith into. Ya know? I've felt so lost. If I haven't told you already, sometime in the future I'll tell you of my affiliation with the storms... maybe. Maybe. I'm very... self-consious about it. Gotta be careful. Anywho, yeah, Like I said, I'd be more than honored. n.n

I thank you, LWW and Kaber.
Why?
Well, the yearbook signatures I got and your stones helped a LOT when I got home.
I was in a mood and a half. Thankfully those ear-searingly powerful stones were able to calm me down within a very short amount of time.
Stupid episodes... I gotta get somethin' done about alla that. *nods*

Ah, finally a day off. Well I've been so buissy with work and stuff. I went a little overboard on the 4th. Hey every Kid needs a chance to play with gun powder and phospherous for the emulation of a fantastic pyrotechniks display.........uhhhh yeah, I mean fireworks of course. I spent $50 on those little bangers. I didn't tell LWW how much but we all enjoyed ourselves, then the next day she found my bank book, Uh Oh. Its kinda like what they say in those nature shows when the Wilda beast leaves the heard........."Sadly now, there can be, but one outcome" yep. Well we did have fun though.
Ahh Rune so I hear you too are a rain god, kewl. Nothing like thunder as your pulse and lightning in the veins. The wind is your breath and the dark clouds, fore bearers of the things to come. Clouds laying thick upon the sky as a secure blanket. They bear the weight of the rains of renewal, that which washes away the old, the filth and dirt and grim and when the clouds part the world is new again, young, fresh and for a time, innocent.
Thunder is the strength to overcome adversity. it is the dragons roar. Those in its wake tremble for it calls the power that sunders and it defys all things.
Lightning is the quickening. It is greater than fire, as mysterious as light, it is the sunder. Quick, decisive, and unwavering. Lightning strikes with fury. There and gone, those who see it close are blinded by its brilliance. Lightning is intelectual. full of mystery, holding the keys of light but blinding in its beuty. Elusive and uncontrollable. Lighting is the hand of Thunder.
Wind is freedom. It is unbound, cannot be tamed. It moves as a spirit about all things, it has personality. It laughs and it howls. It is the watcher, the Bringer, creator and destroyer. The wind whispers her secrets, sings her majest and screams her fury. She is playful but fickel. Unpredictable as the storms she brings. She is the to the bird as the sea is to the dolphin. Only the dragon has mastered her.
Well that is just a little glimps into the mystery I see I see in storms.
Now stay tuned for the next exciting synopsis of the PA Home For Wayward Gamers um............Game in progress or something like that.

So here we are again, welcome to another episode of the PA Home For Wayward Gamers game synopsis.
When we last left our hero’s it seemed things had gone rather badly. Magnus the Gladiator had decided to end the lives of his other two fallen companions, the Half-Orc and Ragdar the other Gladiator. Taking his blade he quickly dispatched his fallen comrades then he and the Dwarf, Axeblade Hairsplitter left the room to fallow the Druid, Bard and Thief down below.
Meanwhile, at the surface. The guards decided to select some more adventurous people from the crowd that had gathered. Why risk city guards when they could send others who were better equipped and skilled at dungeon crawling to descend into the depths and retrieve the would be criminals from their nest. And so it was that the guards selected five adventurers from the throng. A divine spell caster, a Minatour, yet another Gladiator and another spell caster of unknown origin and of course, another half-Orc. They made their way to the captain’s tent and were told that they would each be given a standard payment for the retrieval of the law breakers. Dead or alive and of course for the safe retrieval of The Eye of Drin a bonus would be granted, compliments of Lady Gray. Taking the offer the band of four “Bounty Hunters” entered the dungeon and began to make their way through the depths.
No sooner did they enter a room lit with small gouts of flame along the walls when they heard the echo of voices. Quickly fallowing the sound they entered another room and came upon the dead bodies of almost a dozen Giant Bees and the remains of a Half-Orc and a human gladiator. Mugwort the half-orc bounty hunter decided with the help of Ragdar the 2nd (Hey I don’t make this stuff up, we were pressed for time and well….so much for originality) to take the bodies topside and collect their reward. Orgoth, the Minatour, Noriko the divine spell caster and Arjun (?) decided to move forward and locate the rest of the party. And so Ragdar the 2nd and Mugwart returned to the surface, collected their reward (A paltry 18 gp/ head) and returned to the dungeon to claim the rest of their bounty. Meanwhile things began to go amiss for our party.
Deep in the dungeon, on the 3rd level to be exact, (Ok so when I drew the map I had to have a safe route and a dangerous route, thus I added the stairway to the 3rd level. With sufficient traps set and counting on the party wanting to thoroughly explore my dungeon I didn’t think it a problem. But just in case I had devised a way to force them where I wanted. Yeah, Right!) Tulana the Bard, Aria the Druid and Lee the thief had descended the stairs and found that at the first landing a Hall stretched before them as far as they could see and the stairs continued down to the right. After scrawling a message with chalk, on the floor they first took the stair and fallowed a short hall to a large room. Here it appeared that the floor had collapsed entirely, leaving only a 4 foot ledge on either side. Thinking this to dangerous (Drat! This could have been fun) they returned to the landing and moved down the long hall, the thief searching for traps as they went. (The thief has a horrible armor check penalty when checking for traps, goodie for me.) Near the end of the hall the thief sets off a pressure plate, causing a large, thick stone slab to drop from the ceiling about half way down the hall, behind them. This was to effectively bar their return to the rest of the party and at the same time force the remaining members to seek another way down. (Ha! Yeah right again.)
The Minotaur, Devine spell caster and Arjun-the fallen (?) enter into the next room and begin to cross the narrow path leading to the stair well when life becomes a little more interesting. Magnus and axe blade descend the stairs and find the scrawled message thus they fallow down the long hall. Above, The Fallen activates the pit trap located in this room and barely catches himself. (A successful save vs Breath Weapon allows for a Reflex save.) He begins to pull himself up when the ground begins to sag, becoming wet, slimy mud.
Below the Druid decides to cast Rock to Mud (What! Rock to Mud!? In a 5’ corridor? At what level!! Oh great!) This was the druid’s great idea in avoiding the stone barrier that bars the hall behind them. At 9th level (Yes she’s 9th level. I allowed this for various reasons one of which was to aid the party in dire situations. Since she was a lost druid her healing spells were unavailable among other things but anyway) She can turn 20’ cubic area of Rock to Mud. How about that, 20’ at the barrier just happened to encompass the area above as well. The Fallen barely manages to pull himself up, while the divine spell caster spreads her arms and the area is lit from the light emanating from her Fiery Wings Spell. She rises into the air as the Minotuar struggles to reach the Fallen. Alas, his weight causes him to begin sinking into the muck.
(Ok, ok I can deal with this, I’ll be able to get the party together after all. I’ll just let them fall through the mud, I think this to myself but of course THE DRUID HAS OTHER IDEAS.) The Druid having reduced the barrier to a large mud pie decides then to alter the spell so that the whole dungeon doesn’t come plopping down on them and…….Mud To Rock. Even as the Fallen is on his knees preparing to rise the mud around him and the Minotaur turns to stone. Trapping them just as the Mugwort and Ragdar the 2nd enter the room. The divine spell caster decides to take a look below and flies down the warped pit. Meanwhile Magnus and Axeblade enter the corridor and stumble upon the strange rock formations that represent petrified mud. The dwarf can’t determine the stability of the area but decides to cross, the gladiator close behind when light falls from above. The light is reddish orange like that of fire and fearing a trap each dodge opposite each other. Suddenly the hall is illuminated by the fiery wings of Nariko the divine spell caster. She nearly set down atop the two and settles between them. At the end of the hall the Druid, Thief and Bard witness the arrival of Magnus, Axeblade and the fiery winged being. Above, calls for help can be heard.
Well isn’t this a fine mess. Arjun concentrates for one round and using a martial arts non weapon proficiency manages with successful strength check to break free, the minotaur does the same even as the half orc and Ragdar move around them to investigate the pit. They decide it would be best to climb down. As the divine spell caster explains the situation the others the half orc climbs first and falls, fortunately He is heard as he descends and Noriko moves out of the way as the half Orc falls where she once stood, fallowed by Ragdar who falls on the orc and then the Minotaur who also falls on the orc. Arjun takes the stairs and the party at last meet up. Every thing is explained to each other and it is decided that perhaps they should seek this Eye of Drin together.
Stay tuned for part two as this post was more than 10,000 characters long. Sheesh!

The fallowing program has been brought to you by Sensate communications. Bringing the multiverse to you. And by Xislix financial, servinng the planes for over 200 years by opening the door to your future. And now for part two......
So, Onward they go. They cross a bridge and enter rough cavern walls. They move forward and encounter Olive Slime. Detected by one of the party members as it falls on the thief. Then Olive Slime Zombies attack but the druid puts up a wall of fire and moves it forward as they continue. (Wall of Fire, and they say 3E is munchkiny? Only things on the other side of the wall take damage and it moves as the spell caster moves.) This effectively cinders anything in their path until the spell wears off which is about near the end of the rough stone. They once again enter into a worked stone corridor and fallow it to a dead end wall with engravings upon it. Basically it says “Ye intruders beware. Beyond is the guardian of the underworld. Death awaits those who pass beyond.” (Damn! The druid saves against my Glyph of petrification). A successful search by the thief (He takes off his armor) and the door is opened. On the other side is a huge chamber with a large pit on one side. Behind it is a statue of a Giant bat, wings cupping around a shimmering pool of energy. On the opposite side is a raised dais with a sarcophagus and a skeleton in black robes lies on the floor next to it. The half Orc rushes in even as the Dwarf, minotaur and The Fallen grab hold of him and pull him back. Too late the skeleton comes to life. Rising with great speed it strode across the room and holds up its hand. The Dwarf steps in to try and use a wand of negation to stop any spell while Radar and the Half Orc prepare for battle. Too late, While the dwarf saves, Mugwort and Ragdar are teleported back to the bridge. Combat ensues.
Now the Minotour does great damage with his Great axe but the skeleton is unaffected. Noriko uses a flaming sphere and Magnus uses a magic dagger, I think it’s a fang dagger, and throws it at the creature. Damage is dealt but the dagger sticks in its robes and he grasps it, using it as a weapon against the party. The party get finally get it just below half its hit points when the unthinkable happens. The daggers magic goes into full effect and the skeleton becomes a frost giant skeleton. It nearly kills the half Orc, and the thief and wounds a few others but in the end the Devine spell caster is able to bless the minotaurs weapon and with the help of Arjun the Fallen they defeat the creature. They take time to heal and tie the Half Orc up so he won’t open the casket. They spend a day refurnishing spells and healing then open the casket only to fine a wizards scroll on how to make a crypt thing (Which Noriko destroys) a bag of gems and …….. They Eye of Drin.
The Eye if Drin The cask contains the remains of the cleric Kane, a scroll with a wizards spell Crypt Thing and 2d10 gems in a pouch each = to 1d6 hundred gold pc’s. The Eye is worth approximately 50,000 gp The holder must also save vs. Para or become enthralled with the gem every time they use its ability to scry or locate object. If they fail they will not want to part with it and will want to stare at the gem, seeing all there is to see while the gem drains first Con at 1p/hr/viewing until at con 1 then Life Levels at 1 level/hr/view. Once the gem (crystal sphere) is held it will impart the knowledge of the fallowing powers to the wielder.
1. Allows clairaudience/clairvoyance in any area the wielder wishes. 2. Will locate and show any object, person or place the viewer wishes. 3. Allows pass with out trace and invisibility to the wielder at will 4. will open portals and doors as per the knock spell.
Bad things 1. The holder must also save vs. Para or become enthralled with the gem every time they use its ability to scry or locate object. If they fail they will not want to part with it and will want to stare at the gem, seeing all there is to see while the gem drains first Con at 1p/hr/viewing until at con 1 then Live Levels at 1level/hr/view. 2. those who hold it suffer a -5 penalty to hit and dam when in daylight but gain a +2 to hit and dam at night. 3. whenever any of its other powers are used it will drain 1 point from str, cha, wis,or dex. Roll a 1d4 to determine. This loss is permanent. These abilities are not imparted to the wielder.
Well ok that’s pretty tough but hey it is a very Minor Artifact dedicated to the imprisoned deity Shenna Darrin the serpent goddess of the moon. What do you think my esteemed players do now? Well I’ll tell you. Noriko and Arjun discuss the gem and decide to get everyone out of the room ……. SO THEY CAN DESTROY IT!!! After casting numerous protection spells and wards they do a Retributive Strike and shatter the Sphere. It unleashes its great energy but alas their protection spells were enough to dampen the damage and contain the blast. And so the party leaves. The “bounty hunters” are the first to exit. Telling the captain that the others were destroyed in the blast fallowing the destruction of the Gem. Lady Gray was furious. She enters the dungeon and the others hide while she prays to her deity…..Shenna, asking for guidance. She then leaves. The “bounty hunters” collect their rewards and around midnight Noriko casts a spell to make an apparition of the thief. This sets the guards chasing the illusion and the others make their escape. Now they seek to leave town. They have made a new enemy and Shenna will not forget them. Nor will her deciple the Lady Gray.
The Bard, The Druid, The Devine spell caster and the Gladiator have all thought that it would be best to book passage on board a ship in order to escape the city. The guards at the gates have been doubled due to recent Orcish activity in the area, though it will take an hour or two for guards to begin looking for the original party, they will most assuredly hire a spell caster to try and determine the actual fate of those members after receiving word of the thief sighting. The party may make for the nearest gate at the "rear" of the city or the docks which are just a bit closer. In fact just the other side of the wall which held the fountain. A ship will most likely leave at about 5 a.m.
And so the adventure continues. Who is the Lady Tillith Gray? What are her diabolical schemes? Will the party escape the guards or will they encounter yet more trouble while boarding one of the vessels in port? Will they escape the wrath of Shenna? Stay tuned for the PA Home For Wayward Gamers next adventure July 24th!
