*Yay*
I finally figured out how to work my scanner, and hopefully I shall be able to upload some of my sketches......*Regina worries*....
Umm....I just have to get it uploaded onto a site. *Sighs*.....I'm not to good at this computer lark.

No, it's not that,...I can't get it uploaded fully onto a proper site.
I tried the photo bucket,...but my images are too large.
I tried deviant art, but I can't get my e-mail from them validating my account.
I have been trying to find a site for me to upload to and then link here. *Sobs*
I am doomed.

Try shrinking your images before you upload them if they're too big. If they're too big for an upload site then they're probably too big to see well here anyway.

Ughh,....damn computer illiteracy!
Shrinking the picture has made the quality very poor I do apologise.
That is supposed to be Alice Ohkawa, my character in my Eva fic sequel....she actually looks quite anrgy in that one which I am quite proud of doing,...because she's not the type of person to be angry and thus it was very hard to make her have that expression.
*Sobs*
However my other pictures I have with me here,...are even larger to scan and I doubt they will turn out nice at all.....I will have to learn how to convert bmp into gif or jpg....any ideas, or help would be much appreciated.

I will have to learn how to convert bmp into gif or jpg....any ideas, or help would be much appreciated. Oh, I didn't notice it was a bmp. Yes, converting it into gif or jpg will be very helpful in getting it into a smaller format. It'll also help more people see your picture. Bmp isn't as "universal" a format as gif or jpg, which have become internet standards. As far as "how", changing a picture from one format to another is usually quite simple. Open the picture in your editing program (if you have one... usually you get a simple one with your scanner, otherwise "paint" can do this as well, I think) and go to File->Save As. Down below the name of your picture should be a drop-box with different formats listed in it. Select "gif" or "jpg" (or "jpeg" ). Then save it. That's it. Oh, sometimes programs will pop-up another dialog that asks you how to compress your file.. just use the default values, they should be fine. You don't need to fiddle with those things unless you're doing something odd with your picture. The one you already posted looks cool, even though the scan wasn't that great. Good job.

In my Eva fic all of the angels have been destroyed as the fic is now on a completely different level,....but I can't say why as it'll spoil the ending for the people here who are reading it. However the new civilization has interpretted the angels as being devine angelic women, they all have masks to shield their faces (hence the fire emblem like helmet) and certain people are able to "see" these angels in dreams and creat paintings and statues from their dreams. This is Shamshel - patron angel of the day who taught men the signs of the sun. The cape is supposed to have a fire effect,...(Hmm....I better shade it in colour huh...) and I thought to do so as; Egyptians saw the sun god as an very powerful and important god, I therefore thought of having this angel look like a powerful Knight. What do you think?
