The breeze sucks at K'Zan's cloak as he crawls into the cavern headfirst. The tunnel hugs surprisingly close to his sides, but not enough to restrict movement too much. The tunnel is dark, though it seems even enough that it would allow you to easily navigate it using only your hands.

K'Zan carefully continues down the tunnel, beckoning to the others to follow (if possible).

Spec eases himself into the tunnel behind K'zan. Keeping his daggers out he crawls upon clenched fists keeping an active eye on their surroundings.

Canderous follows after Spec, but leave space between them, for both of their sakes.

Still K'Zan crawled on - on and on! It felt like eternity... How long had they been underground? The caves, he thought, the caves must be warping our perception of time. It seems like we've been here for months... but it can't have been more than a few hours.
Despair began to close its icy fingers around his heart - until the old Dustman training kicked in, once again, and dulled all emotion...

You crawl for what must have been nearly an hour, though it was impossible to tell for certain. It seems almost a lifetime ago since Kaygor the modron fell under the deadly attack of the hook spiders. A lifetime since you entered this tunnel at the sinister lead of Faniel the Viper. A lifetime since you were sitting back at the Salt Mephit tavern, surroundied by all sorts of colorful patrons.
You continue to crawl, your hands pushing against the soft rocks until it turned to hard granite, and the cold stone freezes your digits until you're not even sure if you're actually moving yourself or not. The tunnel grows quiet, the air goes intoxicatingly musty and stale. The sensory deprivation continues, testing your sanity and forcing you to constantly ask yourself if you are, in fact, awake or asleep. The harrowing experience goes on for an eternity, turning you into worms slithering through nothingness; dead to the world.
Without warning, the faintest of lights shoots down the length of the tunnel, appearing to you as brightly as the midday sun, pulling you out of the depths of darkness. You are alive again. You breathe in the acrid smell of something strongly fermented. You relish the new sensation and feel vigor return to your fatigued muscles.

Spec crawls out into the light, thankful the tunnel didn't en up closing in on them. He stands and wraps his cloak tightly around him keeping his features hidden from the eyes of others. He peers around taking in their surroundings...

K'Zan drags himself up out of the hole and collapses onto the ground. He feels a sudden surge of relief well up inside - but quickly manages to suppress it.
He slowly pulls himself to his feet and looks around.

Spec claws at the rocks like a madman in Limbo, propelling himself through the tunnel towards the light shining down on his head like a fiery baptism. What would be faint candlelight on the outside burns into his eyes, heavily sensetized to seeing in darkness. With a white halo blurring his vision, the thin bars coming towards his face didn't even register until they got too close for him to change his mind.
A thick metal grille completely blocking the tunnel smacked Spec squarely in the head. Light filtered through it, teasing Spec through the large holes in the grille. The tiefling had barely a moment to cherish it before K'Zan, equally zealous to see the light, collided right into Spec's backside, squeezing the tiefling tightly against the grille. Canderous, ever vigilant, managed to stop himself just a few feet short of K'Zan, though his heavy armor made backing up nearly an impossibility.
Spec's elbows were pinned to his sides, barely giving him the ability to move around. K'Zan's head was wedged tightly between his knees, both men firmly attached together like some awkward creation with too many limbs attached at all the wrong angles.

Slightly confused since his eyes were not made for all of this, he asked, "What hellish trickery have we fallen prey to this time?"

Spec rubs his face and head where they slammed into the bars. "Bars!" Gritting his teeth, he wraps his fingers around the bars and gives a strong tug. "rrrrRRRAAAHHHH BEND DAMN YOU!!"

The bars appear quite firm, though in tugging at them strongly, Spec surmises that they probably aren't embedded more than a foot into the rock, and not especially tightly. Given a strong pick, some space, and some time, he might be able to wedge it out, but it hardly appears possible now. Spec also notices a small hairline indent running vertically along the center of the middle bar, and another identical one runs horizontally along the center cross-bar, both meeting together at a rusty, riveted steel plate in the middle of the grille.

"Can you see the other side? The last thing we need is to have to deal with some creature the bars were meant to keep out." The blind barbarian turned around and did his best to sense what was out there. It had been a while since they had seen any other life.

'Possibly it was us that the bars were meant to keep out... or something on this side, anyway.'
Slowly, painfully, K'Zan attempts to rearrange his body into a more familiar position.

Canderous attempts to move around, but finds that the rock wall around him is far too constricting. Through some sick twist of fate, if feels as if the bottom plates of his armor are wedged loosely into a jagged rockfront, making it impossible for him to move anywhere but forward. As he ponders his predicament, K'Zan's foot hits him square in the throat as the githzerai tries to force himself into a more comfortable position, also to no avail. It appears as if the mage will need far more room, which might only happen if Spec is able to move forward about 2 to 3 feet.
As you squirm around in the dark, you hear a long, scratchy sound in the tunnel behind you, followed by a series of sharp clicks that seem to be getting louder.
