Using his last resort, Canderous went into his barbarous rage and used every drop of strength he had to get out of his restraints. He was Kaygor's only chance and he wasn't letting anyone go without a fight.

"Knives into heart!!" echoes through the caves as the pitch blackness bursts into brilliant light. 5 green, laughing skulls burst from Selenya's fingertips, tracing their way quickly but erratically directly into the spider's torso. They hit, each one methodically resounding with a clear squelch, as spider ichor and ooze sprays into the cavern, and blackness once again falls over the battleground.

Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Canderous's face, turning a beet red as he summons up every ounce of strength he has and, grunting, rips himself out of the net that holds him. He pauses, panting for a moment, watching the gory mess that unfolds around him. She glances to her right just in time to see the freed tiefling draw both daggers and leap at the prone and wriggling spider, ripping them both into the side of its head and tearing through the tough skeleton until it stops moving. He looks up at her satisfied, before feeling a burning pain on the gaping wound in his shoulder, as if someone had set it on fire.
A sudden burst of movement to Selenya's left catches her eye again as the first spider, injured from the magic missiles, but not killed, leaps at her. She instinctively covers her face, but is surprised when the spider, unaware of its own injuries, leaps short, and collapses into a heap on the ground, slowly trying to pick itself back up. It struggled for barely a second when a string of arcane words rung through the air. Space seemed to twist around the spider as two more holes bore themselves into its head, removing it from the body.

K'Zan fell to his knees and dropped his arms, exhausted from the spellcasting and the battle itself, that lasted less than half a minute in total. A sharp sting in his torso indicated that the poison was not far from killing him. His limbs began to get weak, and blood welled up in his throat as he collapsed forward and his vision began to fade. Kaygor's eyes clicked over towards the githzerai and with his last ounce of strength, the modron removed a small leather sack clipped to his belt.

Poison kit... K'Zan. Canderous... now! he exclaimed, as his eyes clicked shut and the motors in his head eerily stopped whirring

<OOC: Canderous rolled especially well in the last round and will thus have one quick round in which to act before I apply the effects of K'Zan and Spec's poison>

Knowing he had no such thing, he nodded respectfully to Kaygor and then went to his pack rummaging through, hoping he had soemthing that might save the two (or one if he only knows of K'Zan) poisoned team mates.

Still shocked by the change of her Magic Missiles’ appearance, the spider’s sudden attack and no less sudden death, Selenya looked around somewhat abscently…
…Only to see that there were no more enemies left. They’ve won, if you could call it victory…
…For not only Kaygor seemed to be in a near-death state, but Selenya clearly remembered that both Spec and K’Zan were injured by likely poisonous spider-like creature, and thus, were in grave danger as well.
And Selenya instantly felt sudden dread and hopelessness, not to mention a sudden rush of tiredness, realizing that there was very little she could do to help her friends battle the effect of poison, and nothing she could do for Kaygor. But still, as long as there was something she could do, Selenya couldn’t afford not trying.
Trying her best to ignore the tiredness she felt, Selenya reached for the dagger at her belt and started to cut the strings that kept her pinned to the wall, hoping against hope that she will make it in time to help her companions somehow…

K'Zan stretches out one arm towards the dying modron, and struggles to call out to Canderous- 'Kaygor... has the poison kit.'
-and collapses completely, awaiting death's cold embrace.

Canderous spots a rough, stony vial within the kit, making out the word "ANTIDOTE" written clearly on the side in infrared ink. He runs over to K'Zan's prone form and lifts up the githzerai's head, uncorking the vial at the same time. Tilting back K'Zan's neck, Canderous pours the dark concoction down his throat.
K'Zan shudders violently as the thick liquid runs down into his body. His breath increases quickly and erratically as the antidote and the poison clash inside him, mixed with the torn muscles and scored bones, courtesy of the spider's sharp appendages. K'zan breathes deeply, the blood falling away from his throat, and falls into the dark pit of unconsciousness.

As quickly as possible, Canderous takes off his helmet and the upper body part of his armor and takes the shirt off and tears it up into workable pieces and does his best to bandage and treat K'Zan's wounds.
"Whoever is hurt, take care of it. Whoever isn't, help them out. I'll take care of him and Kaygor." Canderous yells out as he stops for a second to confirm if the Modron is dead.

Spec gets up from killing the spider with a gleam in his eye. Suddenly the back of his neck explodes in pain. His face contorts in agony as he drops to his knees roaring. His eyes open but they don't seem to fall on anything. Weak he falls to his hands, then finally collapses unconcious to the cold cavern floor.

”Spec was also injured, but try to aid Kaygor first if you still can – he took the worst of it!” Selenya shouted to Canderous, as she continued trying to cut the strings her pinned to the wall, mentally cursing herself for her weakness and inability to help her companions.

Canderous goes over to Kaygor and kneels over him. After removing two stakes from the modron's torso, a thin fluid begins to flow out freely, showing that there at least some mechanisms are working. It seems very likely, though, that even if the modron could be repaired, he would never be the same.
Spec's eyes open slowly, and though he has apparently survived the poison, his extremely fuzzy vision suggests that his blood loss is quite extreme. He struggles to get to his knees, but still manages to kneel in the pool of his own blood mixed with thick arachnid ichor. Dozens of wooden stakes are scattered around him, upset when one of the spider's legs hit the stack. Scattered amongst the stakes, Spec can barely spot a few small gems.

Spec removes his cloak revealing the thin wiry yet muscular form which he constantly hid beneath its folds. His arms each reveal a different tattoo ( right arm, left arm). His belt buckle clearly reveals a symbol as well. A thin whip-like tail slashes about and his small black onyx-colored horns are obvious. His head is covered by slick-backed black oily hair. Blood flows from where a stake protrudes from both his abdomen and his thigh. He wipes his daggers off on his cloak and replaces them into his belt sheaths, then uses the cloak to clean off as much of the blood and spider ichor from him as possible. Propping himself up into a sitting position his red and black eyes spot a few coins within the pile of stakes. Remembering what happened the last time he tried to reach for something shiny from within the pile of stakes he very cautiously studies them to make sure nothing is attatched to them before retrieving them.
