On a large boulder 400 feet front Sokar there were three humans wearing leather armor, swords and all three had bows. Two were standing and one was sitting. They were talking to each other and pointing down at the road. All three had arrows ready but have not drawn to fire them. With their back to Sokar none seem concerned to look behind.
After killing three of the escort guards, (orge broke one in half) The three evil alinged rangers watched the barbarian have fun with the remaining six of the escort guard.
The Barbarians were toying with the escort guards, pretending an attack only to stop and simply slap a escort to the ground with his hand. This brought laughter. So hard that a couple barbarians were on the ground laughing.
One escort said something and a barbarian reply, he cleaved the escort guard in two with his war axe.

Sokar fires off his arrows, and knocks 3 more. And tells Boh to get ready to sting if needed.

The ranger standing in the middle looked at the Ranger standing next to him on the right. He was making a strange sound and had a strange look on his face.
What's wrong your last meal not settled well? He said with a smirk, until the man fell down off the rock. Two arrows stuck in his back.
Damn, move behind us.
The remaining two evil ranger's started to scamble off the rocks. The ranger sitting rolled off the rock. The one still standing made the mistake of looking where the arrows came from. He soon found three arrows stuck in his upper torso.
After a short time staring at the arrows he simply fell forward and quietly died.
Horrad and Challenger came to a slight bend in the pass. They were concealed by a large boulder, about 50 feet from the ambush site. They were out of line of sight of the Barbarian's because of the large boulder. But they could easly run around the boulder onto the Dawn pass. Challenger saw Horrad and himself could give one attack each before the Barbarians could respond.
Challenger looked around what he could see, still no Jastra and Stryder. Looking around the boulder there was three barbarians playing with the guards. There was now three of the escort guards still alive.
moving back towards Horrad Challenger signaled he was ready.

"Their not going to last, I'm going to their aid. You handle this one then join me." Challenger told Horad. "See you on the otherside." he said with a rogues grin. Challenger drew his Longsword and tri bladed dagger and charged down on the Evil Ranger. To his opponents supprise however the charge didn't connect, Challenger lightly sprang to his opponents left, fainting with his longsword without missing a step. He was aiming to draw the Ranger's attention further away from Horad hopefully leaving an easy opening for his partner to exploite. Without looking back Challenger ran full pelt at the boulder, planting his his right foot high on it and throwing his weight up and forwards he vaulted it in one easy motion. Hitting the ground running he charged at the Barbarians. (I think I've moved too far to attack first as well Challenger

Without a sign of acknowledgement, Horrad charged towards the ranger, his song growing in ferocity. Raising his claymore, he aimed for the spot where throat and shoulder meet, trying to cleave the man in halfs.

Sokar, Seeing that 2 of the evil Rangers were taken care of and the third was about to meet the same fate, turned his attention to the nearest barbarian. This time these cats are in for a treat....Sokar concentrates...then, “Swift death to those who have wronged me.” ...the bow yells. (+5 enhancement bonus, and arrows launched from it deal an additional 2d6 points of damage ). Sokar knocks 3 more arrows and lets them fly at his target.....

Lancenor was standing next to Almax, laughing, he stopped when the he heard the ranger shout a warning. Looking to his left he saw one of the rangers scramble aound the large rock. To his surprize the barbarian from the north was chasing him.
The northerner swung his claymore and missed the ranger, just barely, mainly due to the ranger diving out of the way. Lancernor drew his great sword and looked at the northener.
So the frighten old lady found some backbone. Come and find out how real barbarians fight. Lancenor yelled at Horrad.
Almax smirked at the northener and saw Challenger jump in front of the middle of all three of the barbarians. Great I have been reduced to fighting a elf. Almax look at the guard he just killed and smiled. He threw the dead body at Challenger reaching for his sword, and scream in pain as three arrows hit him on the left side of his back. The pain sent him to one knee.

Reading Almax's arm movements with ease Challenger dodged to his left evading the body.
He continued his rush aiming past Almax using his opponents body to protect himself Lancenor. As he passed he flicked out his longsword aiming for Almax's throat before spinning on one foot gracefully attempting to plung his dagger into Almax's back. He continued the move for two more steps away from the barbarian's as he turned to face them taking up a defencive stance.
"So you like picking on the weak do you. Lets see how you hold up in a real fight."

Sokar, still on the attack, was also looking for Endine."Were are you you bastard!" Sokar mumbled. He kept scanning the area after every shot, making sure HE doesnt get ambushed by Endine or any others. Well,as long as its possible, Ill keep plugging away at the barbarians. Sokar looked all around again, knocked 2 arrows, and let them loose on the same target, taking careful aim.

Not planning to let the ranger go, Horrad took no notice of Lancenor, and slashed again, looking to spill the ranger`s guts..

First time was a charm, second time?
It's appears Tymora the godess of luck was not smiling upon the ranger. The Claymore found it mark, the ranger lay upon the ground in two pieces.
Horrad looked in time to see the Barbarian attack him with a blood yell.
Lancenor did not swing his great sword. He used it to pirece between the armor of Horrad. Lancenor used his strenght to add to the damage.
The sword went between the armor of Horrad not very far but Horrad could feel it stick in his right side.
Lancenor moved the sword up and down to add to the damage.

A serious mistake
Challenger seeing his friend in trouble didn't waste a second. Confident that Almax wasn't getting back up and taking advantage of the third Barbarians lack of movement he shot forwards putting his whole weight behind a thrust aiming to impale Lancenor right through the heart. Never one to leave things to fate Challenger pushed on using his off hand he sliced his tribladed dagger accross Lancenor's throat.
Abandoning his sword he spung away to face the last Barbarian.

Sokar, seeing the that his companions were in the full of the melee, knocked 3 arrows again, not leaving anything to chance, took careful aim at the last standing barbarian. "Corellon Larethian, make my shoot clean and true to rid this evil." Sokar whispers. The arrows fly....

Taking a quick look behind him at the Barbarian near the wagon. Challenger didn't see anyone near the wagon.
Challenger sword pierced the barbarian in the upper torso. His dagger misses as three two arrow hit the Lancenor on the left side, moving Challengers target, the barbarians throat.
