One of the things I don't really care for in Enterprise, besides the terrible opening music, is the theme they're running with and the direction they're going plot wise. It parallels the real world too much. I enjoy shows like enterprise simply for the escapism not to see a version of world events.
As for the overt sexieness of the show or its characters I don't think its any worse thatn any other show out there right now.
Still, as Hussar believes, Im willing to give the show more time before I make my final decision.
The best sci fi series I feel that I have seen to date is still B5.

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You
I want to hold the hand inside you I want to take a breath that's true I look to you and I see nothing I look to you to see the truth You live your life You go in shadows You'll come apart and you'll go black Some kind of night into your darkness Colors your eyes with what's not there. Fade into you Strange you never knew Fade into you I think it's strange you never knew A stranger's light comes on slowly A stranger's heart without a home You put your hands into your head And then smiles cover your heart Fade into you Strange you never knew Fade into you I think it's strange you never knew X2 I think it's strange you never knew X2

A Perfect Circle Pet
Don't fret precious I'm here Step away from the window Go back to sleep
Lay your head down child I won't let the boogeyman come Counting bodies like sheep To the rhythm of the war drums Pay no mind to the rabble Pay no mind to the rabble Head down, go to sleep To the rhythm of the war drums
Pay no mind what other voices say They don't care about you Like I do Like I do Safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils See they don't give a frag about you Like I do
Just stay with me Safe and ignorant Go back to sleep Go back to sleep
Lay your head down child I won't let the boogeyman come Count the bodies like sheep To the rhythm of the war drums Pay no mind to the rabble Pay no mind to the rabble Head down, go to sleep To the rhythm of the war drums
I'll be the one to protect you from Your enemies and all your demons I'll be the one to protect you from A will to survive and a voice of reason I'll be the one to protect you from Your enemies and your choices son One and the same I must isolate you Isolate and save you from yourself
Swayin to the rhythm of the new world order and Count the bodies like sheep To the rhythm of the war drum The boogeymen are coming The boogeymen are coming Keep your head down, go to sleep To the rhythm of a war drum
Stay with me Safe and ignorant Just stay with me Hold you and protect you from the other ones The evil ones Don't love you son Go back to sleep

Blind Melon St. Andrew's Fall Lyrics
Big stretch and not much sleep I got a couple of plam trees on each side of my cheek And it's a bright blue Saturday And the rummage sells the rubbish to me
But if I could buy the sky that's hangin' Over this bed of mine If I could climb these vines And maybe see what you're seein'
If you were standing on the corner staring straight Into the eyes of Jesus Christ
One porch, one dog, one cockroach only way to be I got sewage fruit and it's growing out back from roots I don't know if they belong to me But if I could buy the sky that's hangin'
Over this bed of mine And if I could climb these vines and maybe see what you're seein'
Sittin' at the edge of this building, Twenty stories below, A' twenty stories below Twenty stories below Twenty stories below
I can't tell you how many ways that I've sat, And viewed my life today, but I can tell you I don't think that I can find easier way So if I see you walking hand in hand in hand With a three armed man, you know I'll understand
(Pockets full of crappiness Can't piece together my day So I pose myself this question Maybe sleeps gonna get me in the shade I got my head buried in this pillow I got my head buried in this pillow So low...)
But you should have been in my shoes yesterday You should have been in my shoes yesterday

Its funny how we come to the music that sticks with us...anyone who played Fallout2, where I got it stuck in my head, should know it. ---JSUN
A Kiss To Build A Dream On Louis Armstrong
Give me a kiss to build a dream on, And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss. Sweetheart, I ask no more than this: A kiss to build a dream on. Give me a kiss before you leave me, And my imagination will feed my hungry heart. Leave me one thing before we part, A kiss to build a dream on.
When I'm alone with my fancies, I'll be with you, Weaving romances, making believe they're true.
Give me your lips for just a moment, And my imagination will make that moment live. Give me what you alone can give, A kiss to build a dream on.

And we can't have the 80's without the Pet Shop Boys. (this was both the first song and video by these guys I ever saw)
Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
Sometimes you're better off dead There's a gun in your hand and it's pointing at your head You think you're mad too unstable Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables In a restaurant in a West End town Call the police There's a madman around Running down underground to a dive bar In a West End town
In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls West End girls
Too many shadows whispering voices Faces on posters too many choices If when why what how much have you got Have you got it do you get it If so how often Which do you choose A hard or soft option (How much do you need)
In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls West End girls West End Girls
(How much do you need) In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls Ooh West End town a dead end world East End boys West End Girls West End girls
You got a heart of glass or a heart of stone Just you wait till I get you home We've got no future We've got no past Here today built to last In every city in every nation From Lake Geneva to the Finland nation (How far have you been)
In a West End town a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls In a West End town a dead end world East End Boys West End girls West End girls West End girls West End girls (How far have you been)

Queen is from the 70's and 80's. still, they have awsome music that stands the test of time. JSUN While we're on Queen, here's one... QUEEN We are the champions I've paid my dues Time after time I've done my sentence But committed no crime And bad mistakes I've made a few I've had my share of sand kicked in my face But I've come through We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions - of the world I've taken my bows And my curtain calls You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it I thank you all But it's been no bed of roses No pleasure cruise I consider it a challenge before the whole human race And I ain't gonna lose Won and won and won We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions - of the world We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions

remember GWAR? ;D they would wear those weird dorky costumes! David Bowie began scaring the world in the 80's too (with and without the assistance of the muppets) Like Sid Vicious and Skid Row were a great punk memory too! David Bowie started his career in the mid 60's. Just look at the classic "Space Oddity". Very 60's I think. And who can forget the classic "Rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust..."? Too weird for the 80's. Still Bowie is good JSUN

Everybody's favorite pack rats are the targets in this flash game. JAWA SHOOT This game is great! As I have a love/ hate relationship with Jawa's it helps when I feel the need to shoot a few and don't hve to to play SWG. JSUN
