Krystal stumbled out of the brush, landing in front of Waldo's tree, she stood up, muttering to herself as she brushed off her dress and pulled a few twigs out of her long blond hair. She then looked up at him cautiously. "Oh... Hello..." She said, staying a safe distance away seeing as she hadn't seen him before.

Waldo gets a good grip on his throwing axe, laying it on his knee in a chambered position. Kneeling, he looks down at Krystal, unmoving. He stolidly puts a finger to his lips, indicating her to be quiet, and looks down the path, waiting for his companions to arrive. Hearing the voices in the distance, he puts his free hand to his ear, attempting to hear as much of the distant conversation as possible and trying to determine its location.

Figuring that Waldo wasn't much of a threat, Krystal silently walked towards the tree, leaning on the trunk of it and sliding down into a sitting position. She didn't really know what he was doing, but seeing as he had motioned for her to be quiet, she didn't make a sound.

Waldo keeps a lookout for anything suspicious, and as quietly as possible, slides down the tree, landing next to the woman.
Stay quiet - I think there's something out there whispered Waldo Arm yourself, if you can, for now. I have friends coming.

Walking in the lead as he was wont to do, Heiro listened intently as he went. His ruby eye's glittered as he looked about, his staff was strapped on his back and bobed with every step.

Balthus walks on, grips his staff on both hands, and looked at their captive, checking to see if he seemed to anticipating anything.

Waldo stopped listening, content
I guess it was nothing. Maybe just the wind in the trees. I'm Waldo Figgensdale, a ranger of a distant wood. he said, gesturing to himself And you?

Terocian pops out of the darkness next to Waldo. "I see you have found something." He has his bow in his hand but examines her to not be a threat.

Terocian, I hope you realize that popping up next to a scout is not the most civil thing to do. A less disciplined man would've killed you as you left the underbrush. Please, while you're in the forests, my forests, please obey the laws of the wild. said Waldo, scoldingly

Terocian looked at him with a raise eyebrow. "Waldo, I hope you realize you are speaking to an elf. Not only do I know the laws of the wild, my ancestors wrote them. We also do not like being spoken down to or have our abilities underestimated. I clearly noted when you seemed more content to come out of hiding."

I yield, brother. But for the future, please keep my preference in mind. conceded Waldo.

To those walking with the captive archer As you try to catch back up with Waldo (and now that you look around Terocian seems to have disappeared too). The archer seems to be getting nervous as the various sounds of the forest at twilight are beginning.
<Knightslayer> What's the matter scum? Not used to camping out?
<Rethog> Them sounds ain't what's got me scared. 'tis the fact that many o' them could jus' as easy be one o' mine, out ta make sure I don' be tellin' you all nuttin'.
To those not traveling with the captive archer The sounds of the twilight animals are starting as the sun begins to dip behind the western mountains. The red-orange glow spreading out across the lands as the shadows grow longer where you wait for the rest of the group to catch up.

Balthus was wary, but felt slightly reassured when Iggy, how pseudodragon familiar, poked it's reptilian head out of his backpack and flcikered it's tongue. Balthus smiled. With the acute senses of his little companion, they would be doubly vigilant.
Edit: Oops. Corrected 'back' to 'backpack'. My bad. Sry if confusing.

Krystal smiled, "I am Krystal, cleric of Aisenne, Goddess of the forest." She said with a nod. "And you're companions?" She asked, gesturing to Terocian.
