(Ta-daa... my intro. Anything in italics is thought. Because Finathier cannot "speak" as such bold italic is thought that is conveyed to people as if he was speaking to them.)
The air was thick with the smell of blood and the sound of bestial war cries. High above the city of Angius, Phyrehawk – a lone Finathier – circled the city on his powerful wings. He had no love of Orcs, indeed he had slain his fair sharem but he knew not what they were attacking either. No point aiding the Defenders if they turned out to be a rival horde.
“Phyrehawk…” he thought to himself, “You’ll never find out if you don’t look closer…”
The Finathier dropped his altitude slightly to reveal more of the scene to his keen feline eyes. A small squadron of Orcs were advancing on a stronghold, which looked like humans held it. The Finathier’s keen eyes picked out archers, numerous soldiers, mounted soldiers and what looked like small dragons.
“Around one hundred greenskins, to take on a fortress over almost half again that number?” Phyrehawk gaped, beating his wings to keep him aloft. “Folly… unless…”
Phyrehawk scanned around, slowly, carefully checking for signs of reinforcements, being able to see for miles around from his vantage point; high above the ensuing battle.

*Amazed look on Regina's face* WOW, you watched Spaced too! I've never found anyone else here at College who's seen it, I loved both of those series...*laughs*.....that show is so funny. Me, my mother and my brother are avid Resident Evil fans, and when Spaced did an episode where Tim is playing Resident Evil 2, it was great. *Regina thinks...* Hmm....I'll have to watch that episode when I get home. And he halucinates whilst playing, and throughout the episode you have the Resident Evil music playing through the background,....*laughs*...... Peter Kay though is comic genius, "yer can't do that in pheonix club." "Avanti Jerry." Yup I know... Spaced watchers are incredibly hard to come by *g* But I thought it was amazing Have series one and two on DVD. The Resident EVil episode has to be my... second fave. My fave is the one with all the slow mo gunfights *G* That is a classic! ;D Kay is brilliant! Have you seen Live at the Bolton Albert Halls? (or whatever) While personally I didnt think it was as funny as Top of the Tower that was brilliant. They are sposed to be making a spin off show from Phoenix Nights about Paddy and Max's adventures. (Max btw... is played by Kay as well... sorry... didnt find that out till recently )

I love the FFVII soundtrack - as well as the Chrono Trigger soundtrack. FF10 isn't bad either, neither is Breath of Fire 2. Secret of Mana is quite good too Anything by Nobuo Uematsu rocks.

Anyone play it for the PC? Its based in the Forgotten Realms setting and is an excellent RPG with a brilliant story line. It gets better when you play online or make your own module. Its one of the MOST customisable games out on PC, you can make anything from levels, to new monsters. (Anyone fancy the Balrog from LoTR's in your module?)
Anyways... anyone play?

I havent played it but I've seen it running and it looks cracking - but fairly linear.
Will probably get it second hand or something.

THQ has the next Starfox game too I think. Starfox Adventures sucked IMHO... it seems like Rare just rushed it. Everyone was really bummed about them going at first but we are better without them. Rare have released one game so far on teh X-Box and thats Grabbed By The Ghoulies. No news of Perfect Dark 2 or Conker's Bad Fur Day 2 either.

Has anyone read them? They are a incredibly funny set of strips - oozing nerdy humour and the like, from a very talented artist. The style is simple and the humour is funny. Well worth a read. www.pvponline.com

My dad's actually drawn a strip in 2000AD.
The 3rd December issue, the stripe Tadfraggers under Future Shocks.
He did the pencils.
(Prizes go to those who can find his name)
