Hussar: The statues are of unfamiliar races. Endil: ooc wondering about the structual stability... ** Grimnoor stoicly looks about for the female ** Hussar: Along one side appears to be some sort of insect like creature and on the other, a humanoid lion mix Hussar: The chair is empty. ** Endil puts his hand on his rapier ** Kelly: ****reminisant of the creatures on this island***Kelly thinks to himself Hussar: Chaolosh speaks: I appologize. My lady truly does not favour meeting strangers. She has asked me to grant you your reward. Grimnoor: ooc Your eternal reward.... Bwahahahaha! Hussar: He claps his hands and several of the gray skinned humanoids you saw earlier on the battlefield enter the room from a small door in the side. The bring in tables and chairs. Hussar: Before long, several tables have been set up with very comfortable looking chairs. Hussar: Chaolosh beckons you to sit. Endil: ooc- what where we pormised as a reward? Palai: 'I really prefer more portable rewards' Palai mutters Hussar: Chaolosh sits. ** Grimnoor takes a seat, but makes sure not to rest his arms on the armrests ** Kelly: Kelly will sit, Ned and Fred will stand and watch around us behind Kelly ** Turjan sitting down, Turjan looks forward to a good meal after several weeks of rations ** ** Endil leans against a chair ** Palai: Palai sits. 'got anything strong to drink?' he asks Chaolosh ** Turjan motions to his men "Sit down, we must not offend our host" ** Hussar: The grey skinned creatures bring in steaming platters of food and jugs of wine and other liquors. ** Endil is visbly uneasy ** Hussar: The food is unrecognizable, but smells very good. Palai: w00t Kelly: Secretly and non-chalantly cast detect poison ** Grimnoor welcomes the stooge brothers to sit next to him ** Shadowdragon: [2d6] -> [2,1] = Palai: Palai takes a swig of wine. 'Have a drink, elf, you really need to relax' ** Endil makes no move for the food ** Hussar: Chaolosh eats heartily. Hussar: If surprisingly daintily considering his size and bulk. Endil: "i don't drink..." Kelly (whispering): what are the results of my spell? Shadowdragon: big surprise. endil don't eat don't drink what do you do? whispering to Kelly, sorry, missed that. Nothing is poisonous. Endil: "I'm going to be outside if anyone needs me" Palai: 'what are you, a paladin? suit yourself'

** Endil exuses himself and leaves ** Grimnoor: I do not wish to be rude Chaolosh, but we have come a long way and lost 3 good men, we must be on our way as soon as we can whispering to Kelly, Well, would high alcohol content count as poisonous? It seems like so long ago that you spoke with Chel Azatlan the book dealer in Mithril regarding the ancient and worn map you had taken from the pirates lair. The trip to the island was fraught with danger, both natural and arcane, but you have made some trusted new allies and the Fist of the Dragon Free Company has prospered. . : The island has certainly been full of surprises. The Tiger Dwarves, outcasts and wanderers whose apparent backwardness hid a shrewd knowledge of the modern world, have befriended you and given you a great deal of support. Then, after a dangerous journey into the interior of the island, you made another ally in Vallasta and her hulking mate Chaolosh. They have pointed you in the right direction and made your trip to the plateau in the center of the island much easier. . : After rowing up the river to the plateau, you climbed to the heights along rocky trails and through the hellish heat of the caverns. Dispatching the foul three headed beast which guarded the passage, you have finally reached the top of the plateau. . : Unlike the rest of the island, the plateau is obviously cultivated. Rows of planted vegetables and fruit dot the landscape. In the distance, across the river, you glimpse massive stone buildings that flash in the sunlight. Smoke from cookfires wafts over the scene like fast moving grey clouds. Endil: kelly can use water breathing and walk along the bottom of the river Turjan: ok, lets try to build a raft Palai: very nice, yes Hussar: Not memorized. You could spend an extra day here. Palai: Palai pulls Grim's badly mangled body out of the turtle's stomach and lays him down carefully in front of Kelly ** Endil undoes the knots and walks over to the dead turtle winding it back up ** ** Grimnoor knows that Kely risks the wrath of his god ** Hussar: Inside the guts of the turtle are three diamonds worth 3000 gp and a sapphire pendant worth 5000 gp Endil: he had nice eatings Hussar: Plus most of Grimnoor's more sturdy equipment. His dragonscale boots survived pretty well. Grimnoor: aint it iromic that after all these months Grimnoor is the first to find treasure in the belly of a beast Turjan: "Can we do anything with Grimnoor? "

Endil: "Cause it's senseless to waste arrows on a defeated enemy" ** Turjan casts an eye towards the river "we have lost a good orc today..." ** Palai: "Is it senseless to waste arrows trying to get a friend's body back?" Hussar: On Grimnoor's corpse there are still gauntlets, bracers and an amulet.
