Ok, after a discussion with some of the guys at OpenRPG, I've realized that I've posted some stuff that is definitely copywrite infringing. I'm going to clean up all the stuff. If there's anything you missed, ask about it and I'll email it to you or something.

Huh? What are you doing that's breaking copywrite laws?

Well, posting pics that I didn't create, but, borrowed from other sites. Although, I'm not sure now. I did a bit of research and I think it might come under Fair Use laws for me to do this.

Besides you make no profit or gain any economic benefit from the activity, so the damages of any lawsuit (even assuming you do not fall within the law's exception) would be nill or virtually nill. Also, given the nature of your use it is almost a certainty the worst case senario is that you might receive a warning letter but it would never evolve into expensive litigation (in fact the filing fee alone would likely exceed any possibly recovery in this instance). There just is no bang for the legal buck in a case like this, so I would not worry.

Heh, I knew keeping a lawyer around would be handy. I think I'll stick some pics up now. :thumbu:

Hey folks! For those who don't know I played Nikkia last week and had to leave early to go to bed. If I had asked Hussar how long the games usually last I probably wouldn't have come at all, knowing I only had two hours. I have an hour commute to work each way, and that doesn't make for tons of free time. Actually, I should say that I had an hour commute. They laid me off Friday. There was nothing I could have done to prevent it, it was just bad times for the company, and I'm living with my parents and have a bunch of money in the bank, so I'm fine for now. But the good thing is I can join you folks again this week, and play a whole game this time since I don't have to be in bed at 10 EST.

Now, when I bring Nikkia back we'll have two bards and no rogues. Nikkia wasn't in the game very long and it looks like the party could use a rogue. If you guys want I could try to come up with another character before Wednesday's game, this one a rogue. I don't know if I'll have time since I need to go to a seminar tomorrow, but I'll try if you guys really want a rogue.

Well either you could change to a rogue, or the bards could feature a plethora of rogue skills. Between two bards with alot of rogue skills, it could be enough. Up to you, but for now we have no rogue and in fact have not had a rogue in many long game months.

Okay then, I'm not going to make a new character. However, I did shift a few of Nikkia's skill ranks around so she now knows how to move silently and hide. No sneak attacks, though.

Good lord, how many names are you going to go through Shadowbane? This is number 3. Pick one and stick with it. It makes my life difficult when I have the ever changing name game going on. Heh. Between three new characters, it does make it difficult to remember who is who.
I liked Chey better than Noamuth. Noamuth sounds like a really ugly kind of moth. That or the sound a dog makes when it's swallowed something bad. Heh.

I've been thinking. Yeah I know, wonder of wonders. It happens from time to time. Anyway, what I've been thinking is this: You guys are at a level now where, when things go wrong, they can go catastrophically wrong. The enemies you face now have the ability to cause massive amounts of damage to large areas all at once. No, I'm not referring to anything specific, just critters in general.
In other words, if you guys screw up in a large way, it is possible for you to all die. Look at the fight with the brigantine. Now, I realize that was a result of poor communication between me and you, so I shall endevour, sometime in the near future to clarify the naval combat rules. But, even so, a successful hit had a very good chance of sinking you. And sinking you quickly. Which means that most, if not all of you, would have died. (Yes, I know about rings of sustenance and all that fun stuff, I'm not saying you WOULD die, just that there was a pretty good chance)
What should we do if you all buy it? Half of the party is very new and, actually, only Kelly is an orginal character. Would you like to restart another Scarred Lands Campaign? Back with beginner characters? Or, would someone else like to take the controls for a while and run their campaign during our regular times. How does everyone feel about a change in DM? I know we have several DM's in the group, so maybe someone else would like to take a kick at the cat and let this poor guy have a break (hint hint).
Note, this only applies if you all die. And, don't worry, I NEVER deliberately set out to whack an entire party. It has happened in the past, but only because of party mistakes. Heh. Honest. Really. You can trust me. Heh.
